Steve Sarkisian Hires Washington Assistants Keith Heyward, Johnny Nansen

The first two Washington assistants to join the program will be defensive backs coach Keith Heyward and running backs coach Johnny Nansen. They will join USC wide receivers coach Tee Martin as the first three hires.

Defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox will come if his buyout is settled and defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi will also be announced when USC pays his buyout.

  1. In other news, Saban to Texas? Would leave me a little confused – I mean Pat tried really really hard to get him to SC but he was happy at Bama, right? So you took Sark! Bwahahahahaha!

    • How about you bet on it. Then when you lose, you can welch on the bet. That would make you a man.

    • C’mon Stu-Meister, Saban wouldn’t even take a call from that joker Hadden!!!

And NOW we have swiped K-Pol!!!!

And the CROTCH KICKS just keep ooooon com

      • Why does Mora keep trying to hire USC people? First he wanted to hire Lane, now he wants Kennedy?

Sounds like Mora needs to cheat and try to steal USC plays because he knows he cannot win in the future any other way. Sadface.

Didn’t UCLA do this with Chow too? Didn’t work out so well? LULZ.

          • and as you spoke, Adrian Klemm was rejecting USC’s offer. Lmfao. what a great week this has been for UCLA, I can’t wait for new surprises

        • Never wanted Lane. He was just being polite. He actually likes Lane. Has checked up on him. But he never tried to offer him a job.

Mora didn’t hire Chow, Neuheisel did. Coaches have gone back and forth over the years. Dewayne Walker was our DC and he worked at SC first. Kennedy was actually a Graduate Assistant Coach at UCLA before he went back to SC to coach.

You are trying to steal Klemm as we speak and tried to steal our baseball coach, John Savage.

          • You really aren’t this stupid, are you?

You do realize Pola was technically the OC for the 2012 season at USC? Sure, he had the two years before, but 2012 was atrocious.

Jokes on you. I would tell you to think before you type, but that isn’t possibly with you.

          • his resume looks pretty good to me. his real value is in recruiting we are going to get the Samoan players that would go to USC, are recruiting is going to go through the roofand even you know that

          • He didn’t call plays and ended up giving Lane a black eye. He’s solid, players love him and he is responsible for recruiting most of the talent at Sc. Boom!

  2. No source is named. I don’t follow this site. Any reason to believe this is confirmed or “official”?

    • Oh, that’s something new. You won another game by hiring a new assistant? Well, I guess your losses piled up from the past can’t be erased by just a couple of wins, huh? lol.

  3. Husky fan here – not bitter, I understand USC is easy top 5 coaching job in America. Good on you.

Would like to say though – Nansen SUCKS as a coach, possibly a decent recruiter. I’m very sorry for you and this really softens the blow.

  4. Where is the EXPERIENCE? Hiring kids to coach kids!
Great for recruiting, but we need MONSTER experience coaches!
    Not hangout buddies!
