Chris Petersen Quote Of The Day

“Coach Sark and his crew have done a great job building this thing back up.”

— New Washington coach Chris Petersen

Petersen also said it was too soon to announce his plans for Washington assistants Justin Wilcox and Tosh Lupoi, both wanted by USC coach Steve Sarkisian.

    • Hey where did you get that photo in your profile pic??

LMAO…I know that girl (for almost 20 years) and she used that as her profile pic on Facebook long ago!

    • So “Stu Azole” was really just spedjones the whole time? I thought it seemed odd that old sped was not showing up to mock the Sark hire. This unmasking reminds me a bit of an old Scooby Doo ending, the sort of thing in which the mysterious ghost turns out to a greedy real estate developer in a rubber mask trying to scare the kindly orphanage director into selling her land cheap.

      • lol you sound surprised. Them both being angry and hostile all the time was a dead give away.

          • ProbationU is one of the strongest posters on either blog–along with TrojanFamily, FredSamson and CheapSeats.

          • I lul’d. How come the Bruins are obsessed with our blog and read every comment? You call that strong posting? I call it lack of a life.

Tell me, how does one go from Bruin alum to a daughter that edges into a school with a 79% acceptance rate. Sounds like something to be proud of…not.

          • Not sure about who the acceptance rate comment is directed about, but when did the acceptance rate of a school have a direct correlation to the quality of education offered. There are a number of factors that go into providing and the teaching of undergraduates.

If you are speaking of the Univ. of Oregon, they have an excellent Journalism school for example. Based upon Scot Wolf being an SC Journalism grad…one could leap to eh assumption that it is a better Journalism school than the one offered at Troy.

          • Hey, now THAT’s a low blow. We like to pretend that neither Wolf nor OJ went to USC.

          • You know the trolls here don’t represent the majority of UCLA fans. I think many of the UCLA fans (of football) consist of more casual fans vs. “die hards”. With that said, I’ve found many of them pretty easy going.

On the other hand, we probably have a reverse ratio of die hards vs. casual fans, so it results in more of us taking football seriously.

Of all the schools, I’ve found Oregon fans to have the most bias and thin skin both in person and online. When we lost to them in 2012 at the Coliseum, I never encountered
as many arseholes around our seats!

          • The trolls we have here are particularly annoying because they are either smug and pretend to know what they are talking about (which I’ve found to be far more applicable to what UCLA fans are really like) or they just run their mouth and waste everyone’s time. Either way, I don’t play nice with trolls.

My experience was just that of above: UCLA fans either don’t care and show up to have a good time or they are vastly too arrogant for their own good.

Oregon fans consist mostly of bandwagons, from what I’ve found. Plus, they like all the cool, unique merch to wear. They have nothing else to be arrogant about, so I can’t blame them.

          • Thanks. What other boards do you go to where there’s actually moderators? I forget the sites my UCLA buddy goes to.

I can’t find a decent free USC board. I guess the mess here shows why you can’t have a free message board for USC football.

      • There are a lot of double posters. I’ve seen Stu and ProbU post a lot at the same time.

          • For supposedly being unrelated, there are an awful lot of trolls that tend to post around the same time (and reply to the same comment). Bonus: they are all supposed Bruins obsessed with USC. Weird.

        • Hate to tell you…but I only have one log in…and am very seldom hostile…only hostile towards those that are hostile to me first.

          • I don’t think Probation and Encinitas are trolls and I’m pretty sure they just have the one login each. In fact, I’d be willing to bet on it.

          • You’d win! And posting on both sites has gone way up recently. Between the game, the Sark hiring, retaining Mora, the attempt of SC to hire one of UCLA’s best coaches, the hiring of Polamalu by UCLA and the bowl games, there has been plenty to talk about.

      • Very true. I wouldn’t be surprised if theyre all the same person. Bucket and Thai both type in the same format, Azole, Sped, SUCS are all angry and hostile, and any form of “yoda” just screams bucket.

        • I generally assume that Bucket is posting as Yoda and the Count, but I’ve always figured that ThaiMex is a separate guy.

For all the juvenile shenanigans on here, I bet the average age of the commenters is surprisingly high.

          • No, Thai is one of Bucket’s names. Sped, Stu, Anno, Yoda, and the Count are all Bucket. I haven’t decided about Suckee. I think he’s someone else. Bucket, for all of his flaws, is nowhere near as dumb as Suckee.

          • SUCkee has ZERO football IQ and all her posts are pretty much “yo mama” replies.

Bucket actually has some knowledge of our program from all his hours of trolling.

With Wolf coming off as a very creepy dude, it wouldn’t surprise me if he IS Bucket. Some of Bucket’s posts show up immediately after Scott’s new blogs.

  1. Hey Scott….didn’t SC win a basketball game last night? Beat the mighty Boston College at Galen…thus a victory over the Eagles in both FB and BB. Nothing on that momentous occasion?
