Defensive end Don Hill of Boise, who was offered a scholarship Tuesday, attended practice today as part of his official visit. If he enrolled early that means someone else would not come early. And maybe not at all. Does that mean USC is not going to take three offensive linemen in January after all?

    We have room for him and he is our fourth EE.

  2. Why can’t he EE? I thought it would just count against the 2014 class as opposed to the 4 who count against the 2013 class.

  4. Man Scott is an idiot. We can have 10 guys enroll early, it’s just that only 4 would count towards last year’s class, the others for the 2014 class.

      • I’ve heard multiple issues with the Kylie situation. Kiffin is known for being a jerk, so perhaps it was that.

        However, the most consistent story I’ve read is: a player at USC was supposed to graduate early (there was a joke that he failed a chem exam in one of the comments). That didn’t happen leaving USC a scholarship short. Kiffin apparently didn’t want to use up another scholarship so he asked Kylie to defer. Kylie was butthurt that someone else got the spot. Instead of sucking it up, he decides to cry about it with his coach on Twitter – despite the fact that MANY players must defer for a VARIETY of reasons.

        Here’s the karma: Vanderdoes goes on a whirlwind trip to Notre Dame and falls in love. He commits. Then, he gets there and realizes he can’t handle being away from family (he’s a tad of an attention baby from what I’ve heard) and so he cries for a transfer. Kylie and Vanderdoes were close so Kylie convinces Vanderdoes to snub USC and go to UCLA instead. Guess what? Kylie’s been benchwarming and Vanderdoes has been getting the playing time over the other DEs. The trolls are going to tell you that Kylie’s been hurt. This is mostly BS. He’s struggled with some fatigue and injuries, but he’s been cleared for a lot of the games. It’s just that Eddy is a better player.

        • Lose On, you’re reporting bald face hearsay. The old “most consistent story I’ve read,” doesn’t quite cut basic journalistic attribution. Plus, your added commentary is just a bit SUC biased. Bottom line Lose On, in regard your imaginative fairy tale post, is this: Fitts and Vanderdoes in fact, play for the Bruins, LA’s # one FB team. “Cry baby cry.”

          • They never post at the same time, write in similar fashions with the same tone and make the same grammatical mistakes. It doesn’t take a handwriting expert from the FBI to instantly realize it’s the same person. These trolls need to get a life. Imagine if SUCLA wasn’t so dominating this season with that coveted Sun Bowl bid, these psychos would be shooting up a local post office….

            Every single time I make a comment that is even the slightest bad news for UCLA, HeySUCs (and his other SNs) replies to me ten times. Whenever I see that, I don’t even bother reading the comments. Trolls lack reasoning capabilities.

            Protip: they will never learn that I ignore them and will still spend time replying, though.
