USC Football Can Also Be A Good Distraction From Other Sports

Earlier this week the USC women’s basketball team lost to Cal State Northridge, 65-64. Cal State Northridge?!?!?!?! CSUN entered the game with a 2-7 record.

    • Tanya Harding that ‘auzzie’ ringer the bel-airians brought in for their LGBT softball squad a few years back sounds right – just a mere 18 years ago

  1. What is distracting the higher ups at the Daily News from the performance of their p!ss poor USC blogger, Gargamel ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  2. Hey Scottie, how about some information for once, such as, why did USC lose the game? Do you have any insight here or did you simply finally come across the score?

  3. sweeep scoop, wolfman!!

more EVIDENCE of the DISMAL state of the Southern Cal Athletic Dept!!

with the football team in the crapper, just illustrates the hazards of being a one sport school!!!

oh, and by the way, UCLA has the nations #1 recruiting classs for women’s basketball!!!

    buhhhhhhhhh-BAMM!!!

    • And what about the sixth straight NCAA Championship for the water polo team last weekend, Thai/Yoda/spud/count/heysucs/bucket???

    • Try as hard as you might, UCLA is a one sport school. Outside of the relic known as your men’s basketball program, there is a very steep and deep drop off for football, then a who cares about any other of your sports teams. The number of total championships your school has won interested you people only once you realized you led the nation. Yet deep down you know you’d instantly trade them all back for any semblance of the faded glory of the men’s basketball program. So all you trolls need to quit fooling yourselves with this stuff, it’s embarrassing that you think we’re fooled by your deception….

      • As long as they are wearing their pretty little dresses they feel invincible, pathetic!

        • But that’s just it – you don’t have one sport. Woman’s soccer does not count and you know it. Only you trolls call a 3 loss season and the Sun Bowl a magical season!!! Silly trolls are so stupid!!!!

  4. This is what happens when your AD goes for the cheap minority hire alum instead of paying for a qualified coach.

    • I think you ought to retract that “cheap minority” reference. However you intended it, it comes off as offensive.

And I, too, am now down on Haden’s “not invented here” methodology. He was “invented here”, but he’s just a trainee who hasn’t surrounded himself with experienced partners in the department.

  5. No one cares about women’s basketball. Actually, when it comes to sports, no one really cares about women’s anything. Sorry. (I am a woman, by the way)

    • As the bard’s Queen Gertrude says, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” Either that, or you did not play college sports, or have a daughter who does–or did. It’s amazing how chauvinistic men (and even women) can be when it comes to college sports.

  6. Speaking of which…..

USC men’s basketball beat the ACC’s Boston College last Sunday. Wolf has not even mentioned it. He has mentioned USC playing West Alabama three Tim’s and now the women’s team losing to CSUN. But not a single word about USC beating BC.

I guess positive news out of USC doesn’t feed the trolls so he leaves it off his blog.

    • It’s all a ploy – he’s got to pump up the post count to increase advertising revenue in order to keep his $35k per year job, otherwise he would make half that in unemployment (just like your average troll brings home in welfare)….

      • Don’t be jealous now–even though Scott makes five grand more than you do.

        • I’ll play – that’s still more than your welfare checks!!! OWNING THESE SILLY TROLLS IS TOO EASY!!!!! Boom!!!!
