SUCLA not on the list? What? And SC up 7% over last year? Trolls, go discuss the Sun Bowl somewhere else.

    • your handle says it all, “Charlie”.

wow. instead of celebrating this dubious achievement (seems to recognize one-dimensional schools) the Dummies first thought is of the BRUINS!!!

THAT is what you call TOTALLY OBSESSED!!!

if the trOXans EVER win a BSC title, then they’ll all probably yell “HA the BRUINS didn’t win!!!”

amazing how far into people heads the Cadre has gotten.

      • TrojanFamily

        Oh irony…….

        • FightON

          Bucket does not understand irony.

          • is that like when a bunch of Dummies spend hours weekly complaining loudly about a blog being crummy, yet the same Dummies gobble up the posts like M&M’s??

oh, i guess that is more hypocrisy, or stupidity. but some elements of irony as well, since they make wolfman’s blog the super success it is and keep the wolfman in tremendous BANK when the Blog ratings come out!!

thank them for the GUMBALL, wolfman!!!

          • FightON

            Hi, strawman!

            1. A lonely man spends all of his time acting like an idiot on a rival’s blog. He then laughs about how the rival’s fans are really obsessed about his team.

            2. A fan base reads the blog for their team. The reporter regularly makes snide remarks, releases inaccurate information, and misses the latest happenings from the team he is covering. The commenters point these problems out and discuss the latest news about the team.

The real question is why you conflating these two situations when they really are different and why you believe this to be a valid argument.

Were you touched inappropriately as a child? Is that why you are so angry?

          • “i don’t understand a word you just said.”

            what movie???

      • CharlieTroll

Right…um…sure we will. Keep thinking that. Special troll 8 crap for you.

      • Ray Reyes

A troll typing “totally obsessed” at a Trojan, while posting on here probably more than most actual Trojan fans. Just amazing the amount of time you spend on here.

      • FMUSC81

Nope … we’ll never say that … cause we don’t consider you an equal … nothing more than a piece of gum stuck on the bottom of our shoe that is annoying but scraps off and into the trash …..

        • FightON

Bucket is mad that UCLA isn’t profitable. In other news, Bucket forgot to take his medicine.

  • Henry Bibby

I was told by “sources” that USC would have been worth more, but they have the worst beat writer in America. Forbes downgraded the Trojans value based on that finding.

  • WEB_Dupree

But USC gives a lot of guys something to troll about, and how can you put a price on that?

    • what you call trolling, we call educating and enlightening…we are here to teach and sometimes, to learn.

the Cadre is a calling. do you think we do this by choice? we HAVE to do it! as Yoda says, there is no try, there is only do or do not. we are DOERS!!!

      • WEB_Dupree

Are you saying it is a “Rain Man”-style compulsion, like the need to watch Wapner?

  • Toejam For Life

That was just for this year for all the buyouts and coaches salaries that they had to pay this year! Revolving Coaches On!

    • FightON

      Team value:

      2013 value = $73 million
      2012 value = $68 million
      2011 value = $62 million

I’m sorry that you were never taught math. Tell me, did you drop out of HS or did you simply graduate from UCLA? I’m curious as to why facts are hard for you.

      • HeySUCs

Yet: UCLA 35 – suc 14. An easy fact to ponder.

  • Fred Sampson

Can you imagine the value of the Football program if the Athletic administration were competent ? Most of the major sports at USC are horrible !!!!! And have been for many years . And with the hiring of Steve Sarkision proves they are right on course to mediocrity .

    • FMUSC81

You would know what Mediocrity is Ruin … go play and gloat at you runner up trophy room and wish you had a program as prestigious as LB POLY HS

      • 110 Nattys you Dummy!!! Count ’em!!!!

take the ball gag out of your mouth so you can suck on THAT!!!

        • FMUSC81

thats right ….brag about you tennis teams and the countless women’s titles ….Good job AC !!! Nothing but weak game form a bucket full of fUcla bRuin!!!

          • HeySUCs

SUCUDub, in case anybody is interested, is nominally, in theory, a University of higher Education. Most of this blog’s self-described SUC Grads don’t support that theory.

          • FMUSC81

            crickets …crickets !!!!

        • FightON

Where are the football national championships? Women’s sports do not count. Ever. No one cares about that manure.

          • Southern Cal has only “mythical football champeenships” some under VERY dubious circumstances!!! some acheivement, Yesterday U.

            orale! soy en FUEGO hoy!!!
            (woo-hoo! i’m on FIRE today!!!)

          • FMUSC81

The only Mythical around here is you guys playing at the Rose bowl on Jan 1st …. now that is truly Mythical!!!

          • HeySUCs

But, SUC will finish this FB year at the “Take a Dump” Bowl sponsored by Island Fresh Guano Fertilizer. Romp on.

          • TrojanFamily

You know, just because it burns when you urinate, it doesn’t mean you are on fire.

          • FMUSC81

            Lmafo !!!!

    • rusoviet

BTW once the Coliseum is officially in Troy’s hands more revenue in-bound – only primed to rise!

  • B.Miller

MO MONEY, MO MONEY, MO MONEY! #13 on top of Sanctions, less scholarships, and those years not being bowl eligible..
    Damn Texas!

  • steveg

We did find fucla finally on the list:
    Value: $6.95
    Revenue: $1.82

How could a fucla troll be so stupid to even post on this thread.

    • HeySUCs

UCLA is a California public school, and unlike SUC the private school, is subject to legislative and University system laws and oversight. So we’re talking King and Princess of LA.

  • snarfy

That article is so stupid. So let me get this straight: Wisconsin’s program is worth more than USC’s even though Wisconsin only earns $19mm compared with $35mm for USC? I’ll take that trade all day long.

And what silly blogger is coming up with the valuations? USC’s program is worth only $73mm on $35mm of profit?
That’s just 2.1 times earnings. A reasonable multiple would be at least 10 times; maybe even 15 times. That would put the value at $350mm to $525mm.

If Forbes wants to sell me USC’s program for $73mm, I’ll borrow beg and steal to pay that price.

    • snarfy

Meh, I was scrolling the wrong way. They actually value Wisconsin at less than USC. But they still value Arkansas more highly than SC even though it earns less money. Not to mention the disparity in Heisman winners, conference titles, national championships, etc. Ridiculous.
