  1. I based my vote on UCLA for two factors. First UCLA has the advantage of beating USC two years in a row. Secondly UCLA can use Klemm as an advantage by telling recruits that Klemm was the coach Sarkisian wanted to coach the USC offensive linemen and he is at UCLA.

Hopefully, we haven’t lowered the bar to the point that beating the Mountain West Conference champion in the Las Vegas Bowl is something to crow about and accept as the new standard of excellence.

        • haha, yes. If you can’t actually beat UCLA (or really, even show up to play a close game), make fun of their bowl game. Jealous ON!

Great job on the 10 wins though. Give every team an extra game against Hawaii and that 10th win will start to seem pretty irrelevant.

          • Prepare for suicide watch in Westwood. Rumors are out that Texas is offering Mora 5 million a year to jump ship. That is crazy money and considering the school, history and it’s own network. Giddyup Jimmy boy..

          • Afraid to compete against Mora? He isn’t leaving…but keep your hope alive.

As far as the ACTUAL topic…recruiting rankings mean very little. They make for nice conversations, but a lot of 3 star kids….particularly on the OL develop more slowly through weight programs and coaching. I woulld expect tha rankings to be very close, however the teams each have different needs to fill.

  2. USC is still under sanctions. That it is even close shows he true distance between the two programs.

    • Your constant list of RAH RAH based EXCUSES (Gee…according to sources…$UC ended up with THE HIGHEST RATED recruiting class EVER, last season…during sanctions) …NEVER let’s up. You are as predictable as the Swallows returning to San Juan every year! How about EXCUSES like…YOUR “schools” tarnished reputation, the CHEATING, Goat Boy, The excessive TURNOVER with Head Coaches (the coaching staff in general), LOCATION location, location, What heritage? (the OAKLAND RAIDERS were also once tradition rich….look at em’ now!). Your A.D.?….Who’s gonna stand up and defend that floozy? Your current head coach is under scrutiny for doing DUMB things last year and could be in trouble. Like I’ve said it before…That Dump on Figueroa should be burned to the ground and covered in Salt for the next 100 years.
      fit Un though!

      • Do you think you can participate and not have your comments deleted due to their offensive nature?

      • What’s with the random capitalization?

With your last few posts, I think it’s time for a timeout. Besides, they’re really becoming incomprehensible.

      • You forgot 11 NC 7 Heismas 81 first round picks … 24 rose bowl wins countless all Americans …. But wait ! Those are facts ! And those don’t count at Gayley St U !!! Lmfao ! Silly gutties ! Tradition is for The men of Troy ! You’re still bent Espn talks about our 10win season and not your Nine win Mora !!!! But as usual … Facts put you into seizure and the coward never response

  3. USC had a lot of decommits last season and UCLA was the benefactor of this even with recruits like Vanderdoes who made a haste decision, left SoCal, and then backed out of contract. It will be interesting to see where things head this year.

TrojanFamily is right – USC is still under sanctions and has gone through three coaching changes. That they have a 10 win season and are getting top recruits to rival other teams really does give a perspective of where the two programs are.

    • That fine Southern Cal edumacation is really paying off! “BENEFACTOR”….really? You great big DUMMY!

      • Now now Chuckles. Your job us to give FightOn a fresh, clean feeling! That Summer’s Eve you write on the waist band of your tidy whities is your name, not the one time the camp counselor touched you inside your swimsuit.

      • BWAHAHA! OMG. I type “benefactor” instead of “beneficiary.” Big deal, Aspie. I could chase you around and correct your every mistake (meaning reply to your every post), but, really, it’s a waste of time.

Seriously, you don’t actually believe that UCLA did not benefit from the decommits though, do you? You really aren’t that stupid, are you? That’s a legit question. Answer it, chuckles.

      • Editor or Tutor…YOU MAKE THE CALL! I feel for the woman…her routine calls for a post, followed by inserting foot in mouth. Beneficiary/Benefactor…here’s a good example…When Nubsie gives it to T-Fail…Nubsie is the BENEFACTOR…(The Giver)…T-Fail is the recipient..or the BENEFICIARY. Think prostitutes and customers…know what I’m sayin’…(Why do i feel so dirty after “engaging” you?)

      • Why aren’t your ThaiMex and Bucket accounts ever coherent? Because, you know, if you want to talk about tutoring, you could use one. Bye, Scott.

      • Hasty???? Benefactor??? Kind of reminds me of that very old commercial…..”You want Good Grammar, or good Taste?”
        fit Un!

    • Beneficiary vs. Benefactor….You are a pretty good example of people using “BIG Words” they really don’t understand. Must be that fine Southern Cal edumication!

      • LULZ. I’ve proven multiple times on this blog my intellectual skills are vastly superior to you and your friends. If all you have is literally one post with me misplacing two similar words, you have nothing. Now, stay on topic or your posts will keep getting modded. Also, the random caps are annoying. Is your name Christian Weston Chandler?

  4. USC is still under Sanctions, everyone in the Pac 12 should have a better recruiting class, its to their credit that they do as good as they do.

    • Good point.

With sanctions and three head coaching changes, USC is sitting at #32 with 15 recruits on ESPN, #33 on Rivals. Four PAC 12 teams are beating USC as of now on Rivals’ and ESPN’s ranking systems. If you are curious, only one PAC 12 team beat USC in recruitment rankings last year according to Rivals’ system.

Let’s look at last year: USC came off a disappointing season and retained an unpopular coach. With a rash of decommitments, USC still came out at #13 despite having roughly half the total recruits anyone else in the top fifteen classes had. They also came out with the most five stars and one of the top averages. So, with 15 recruits USC was still only five spots away from UCLA with their 24 recruits and beat out all other PAC 12 schools.

Now, there could be a legitimate argument about questions with the star system or whether or not Kiffin should have focused on more players rather than getting those with the most stars. Still, USC has fared well in recruiting (especially in comparison to the PAC 12 teams) despite sanctions and Haden’s poor decision making – you think UCLA could do that? Lulz.

      • sooooooo…. “half the total recruits”, and…nearly the same rank…I guess that means your players are “NEARLY” twice as good/valuable as UCLA’s….assuming, they continue to grow, don’t get hurt, don’t flunk out, and don’t get in trouble with the law…
You can put lipstick on a pig, but……..

        • “they continue to grow, don’t get hurt, don’t flunk out, and don’t get in trouble with the law”

Ironic. You guys have lost multiple players this season due to those reasons. What are you trying to say?

  5. Another non thought out poll.. Since USC is still dealing with Sanctions.. nice dumb question wolf
