USC Morning Buzz: Justin Wilcox In, Marques Tuiasosopo Undecided On Future

NCAA football, No. 2 Oregon at No. 16 Washington

Now that Washington’s season is officially over, defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox (right) will join USC’s staff, perhaps as soon as today. Washington assistant Marques Tuiasosopo (left) has been offered the tight ends job at USC and Washington, so he needs to make a decision.

If Tuiasosopo joins, USC will have five former Washington assistants on the staff with Johnny Nansen, Keith Heyward and Peter Sirmon already working for the Trojans.

  1. So what? Les Miles took four or five assistants from OKST to LSU, and no one made snide remarks about that.

And UW looked decent against a team that beat Texas. And Wilcox made adjustments and shut out BYU in the second half.

  2. I think Wolfdogs hatred for SC goes way back to when his roomates from Flour Tower tied him up and he was force fed burritos filled with cat food and dip spit for three strange days – then came the hard part… He had to recite Fight On to Victory word for word with little sleep but failed miserably, he was called a Failure Queen and he couldn’t understand why he was attracted to the same gender… Anyway, his great revenge has come in the form of this blog where even the web address “insidesocal” spews hatred and in his fantasy, here is where it is that he prevails with sideways journalism filled with cuts and jabs against a program that he feels rejected him while a young lad in a dorm room – how sad, poor Scott.

  3. Tim – please get rid of this hack journalist! This kind of coverage cant be good for recruiting – Im not happy

    • Wolf being an SC hater is not what is killing recruiting…….it was the ousting of Coach O and the hiring of Sark that is killing recruiting – and driving the underclassmen to early departures.
If you want some conf. championships – well you are just not going to be happy until this works itself out in a few years.

      • Girl, please. The top OL in Southern California just committed. Sark is

I suppose you are disappointed that all the two and three star studs that Coach Quitter was reeling in and who probably won’t be coming.

And if Orgeron is the re-incarnation of Vince Lomabardi, then why isn’t there a bidding war for his services? Because a.) he is a hot head quitter, and b.) he ain’t a head coach.

Orgeron was simply to substitute teacher, kind of like if Bluto replaced Dean Wormer. Parety on for a while, but once the air goes out of the balloon, it over. And the air went out of the balloon at halftime of the UCLA game.

If you didn’t notice, USC played its most complete game in years AFTER Coach Quitter left in a hissy fit. Orgeron’s success is more due to Lane Kiffin being an objectively terrible football coach than Ed Orgeron being Bear Bryant.

        • “If you didn’t notice, USC played its most complete game in years AFTER Coach Quitter left in a hissy fit.” Wrong, Fresno State outscored us 14-10 in the second half.
Our most complete game in the last 2 years was against Stanford.

          • Wrong. Stanford outgained USC, whoch only gained 23 yards rushing. Yep. 23 yeards rushing is looks pretty complete to me.

You are as consistent as you are stupid.

          • You must be a ruin sock puppet because you only bring shame to our good name with your constant banning.

          • You must be a ruin sock puppet because you only bring shame to our good name with your constant negative comments

          • Stanford is the Rose Bowl representative of the Pac 12 while Fresno St. would have trouble with Colorado. We played a gritty brilliant game against a superior foe. We hung in there in the first half and and came through brilliantly at the end of the game. By complete I mean 4 quarters of concentrated effort….get it Einstein? You think writing volumes makes up for no content.

          • You stupid idiot, the game was over at halftime. They scored one offensive TD and had four first downs in the second half. Go hate some where else

          • Now now TrojanFan1, TrojanFan2, TrojanFan3, Wisdork, Trojan Family and other assorted sockpuppets. I already posted that very fact. That doesn’t diminish the fact we didn’t play a complete game as we did against Stanford. You need professional help for your hateful obsession against Scott Wolf.

          • Did you happen to notice all the backups playing in the second half. You need professional help for all the misfits you bring to this blog!

            PS….The National Enquirer is hiring

        • And where was the big bidding war for Sarknado? Was he in the running at Texas like the GREAT JIM MORA? Harhar.

        • SC played 2 better games than the Fresno game. Stanford and at OSU in Corvallis. Fresno greatly overrated. The other 2 wins were very solid.

  4. TE Luatua now interested in USC. Tui as TE coach? Interesting. Dixon and Luatua would solidify the position for 3-4 years.

  5. all academic, Missy Conboy is lining up a devastating crotch kick for trOXans as we speak!!

only a dumbbell like Hadden would double down on a coach & staff that are under investigation!!!

  6. I hope this translates to better sculptors with better clay, but I don’t follow Washington football so i don’t know these coaches. Like most of the backseat drivers herein I will have to wait until I see the product before i can speak with any authority. Since I hate to wait maybe I can change my name t Scott
