Don’t think it’s a slow hire. Think long term, not what happens hour-to-hour. Things can change very fast and nobodies rolling over. Texas doesn’t even have a head coach yet. If you’re worried about the Trojans, you must think the Longhorns are officially dead.
Late to the game, Wolfie. The fact that Pendergast is not comfortable with recruiting has been a point for Wilcox on everyone’s board.

Scotty calling somebody late to the game is classic. Scotty have you come up with a scoop or real piece of actual news in the last 2 years? Playing arm chair QB is not reporting. This site is good for seeing the pathetic ruin fans and Scotty stroke each but news or facts are always missing.

Man, he’s already made contact with most of the recruits. Now, all he’s going to be selling is the glamour life SC presents versus the rain of the NW. These coaches build relationships with players then sell the school.
He needs to start meeting recruits after the December 16-January 15 dead period ends.
I think that was the whole point of hiring him Wolf.. Because he will be recruiting where Pendergast was just a great coach. Priority is keeping the Juniors around first. then recruiting..
