The Seattle Times reported that Marquse Tuiasosopo turned down a similar spot with Washington and will join the USC coaching staff as tight ends coach. Steve Sarkisian said last week he wanted to hire Tuiasosopo in this role.
That leaves Justin Wilcox as the last Washington assistant and his hiring could finally be announced tomorrow.

I don’t think that was Marques choosing it to be that way. Sounds like he followed Rick because he was familiar with him from UW. Once Rick was fired, Marques stuck around with Mora, but went to UW to be home. Sounds like Petersen has his own plans for UW or maybe USC was paying more.
Do Raider backups really get paid that much money? I don’t know.
He did a fine job for Mora. Wish he was still there. It has been a intricate web with all the names spinning around between, UW, UCLA, USC and the Seahawks along with Chris Petersen. Crazy times.

This is a great pickup for Sark’s staff. Can’t blame anyone for what happened under Neuheisel, but Tui did a great job with Hundley last year and Price this year. And he can recruit….

I believe this will bee an excellent staff of HCSs in waiting asst coaches. Hopefully Sark can hold this
staff together for at least two years before the coaching tree expands to other schools’ HC gig.
