A athlete is an athlete ! Sark would be a fool to to have him not come on at least as as a red zone receiver ! JUMP BALL!!! QB might be a stretch , but with some work he could be dangerous and to have his Dad around would help development ….
Nice, way to use a track scholly to bring in a quality kid. Welcome to the family RCII, Fight On!
Doesn’t work that way. If he is on a track scholarship and plays football, it becomes a football scholarship. Football takes priority in NCAA rule book.
I have no idea why this post is under moderation. yes you are correct. His old man made a buck or two in the NFL, so I imagine he will be a walk-on for both sports.
The loophole is if he try’s out and is not acknowledge as an invited walkon and given a Place on the team he has to go through the paces and cannot participate in track and field in the fall aka indoor season … Don’t see this happening so he ll more than likely hang it up until 2015 when we have 25 again
His goal is to be a future Olympian. #1 HS high jumper in the country
I forget the name of the athlete but I’m certain he played for Vanderbilt this past year. He was offered a scholarship but his father declined it stating he would pay the entire price ‘because’ he wanted to have full control over his son’s image et. al.. This was a result I believe of the UCLA mens BB player’s lawsuit on usage of athletes images etc..
if he’s ANYTHING like his dad, look out…
Yup…probably another Spittin’ and a Gropin’ Marc Tyler! Look out indeed!
fit Un!
Such a coward!
Any luck with the insomnia?
Thaimex has issues
I’m sure there will be a spot on team for him since this is something that will help the program have a schlorship type player not counting against the program.
Hmmm. You can accept a football scholarship and also run track but not accept a track scholarship and play football?
