Will SEC Welcome Lane Kiffin?

ALABAMA TENNESSEE FOOTBALL

Dusty Compton/Tuscaloosa News

SEC commissioner Mike Slive might not enjoy the return of Lane Kiffin. Slive reprimanded Kiffin twice when he coached at Tennessee. When Kiffin left for USC in 2010, Slive expressed his pleasure at the SEC’s Media Day.

“The other head coaching change took place at Tennessee when Derek Dooley’s predecessor left to return to his Western roots,’’ Slive said. “I want to welcome Coach Dooley back to the SEC, and when I say `welcome,’ I mean welcome.’’

  1. Ground breaking blogging, Smeagol-Wolf…copy and pasting material from 3 1/2 years ago by the queen of copy and paste. The bigger question is will Gargamel move on from chronicling every move that this turd of a FORMER USC coach makes.

        • The story has everything to do Alabama and Kiffin, genius, and nothing to do with SC. Gargamel is trying to manufacture a SC angle to the story just as he will post some snarky thread if his beloved Caesar happens to lose to the Saints this weekend.

          • Gee, where did Kiffin coach the last 4 and 1/3 years, genius? Where did Pete Carroll coah before the Seahawks, genius? Why do posters comment here regularly on how Trojans in the NFL are doing or if a prominent SC alum passes away, genius?

          • Shill on Trojan Reach Around, shill on…

Spaulding was here 3+ years, by the way, genius…

  2. The fact is…Goat Boy was a complete 100% embarrassment to EVERYONE. Typical ARROGANT hire by U Stupid Clowns. How many of you YO YO’s spoke highly of the hire a few years ago? Sinners….REPENT! DUMB FAWKERS! The Only guy with a decent spin on this mess is Sir Charles Bucket, who likened Goat Boy to Forrest Gump! Sarkiffian (aka “The Armenian Comedian”), is well on his way (of ,”The Best Coaching Staff in America”, fame) to cementing your legacy as the biggest folly in NCAA history. I understand the University of South Carolina has filed another appeal to protect their rich history and not be confused with the best little whorehouse on figueroa.

(in other legal news…O.J. is claiming he has BRAIN CANCER and is seeking an early release date…How does a brainless torgan get Cancer of the Brain?)
    fit Un!

  3. Of course the SEC will welcome him back…
Bama thinks he makes them stronger, but everyone else recognizes that this is the beginning of the end for Bama.

Look for the bubble screen at Bama.

  4. Screw this site – one mentioning of kiffs new gig would have been plenty but this is too much – lets get back to quality this idiot beat writer thinks sc will win less than 8 games next year – ya right, no less than 10 mark my words

      • You are such an idiot marv, lulz. Your logic is almost as bad as HeySuxx. Clue in: I can read a blog but still criticize poor reporting, sort of like Bleacher Report. Wolfie gets some things right, like a broken clock.

It does encourage me to show up more knowing I ruin your experience. I think I’ll post even more.

  5. Here’s what REALLY should be reported on a USC site.

USC Football News posted the following tweet:

“Ohio St.’s loss means #USC finishes as the winningest team in the BCS era, in total BCS wins & win % among teams with 4+ appearances.”

    The Playoff Guru posted:

    “Best 3-year stretch in BCS history remains USC 2003-05 (37-2, 2 titles, 34-game win streak) > Bama 2011-13 (36-4, 2 titles, 15-game WS).”

  6. Scooter, Bucket or whatever you call yourself on this blog you have to stop stalking Lane Kiffin. Scott there are laws against it.

  7. Funny that Wolf had reach deep to find a story.

I wonder if he actually thinks 100% of coaches including assistants in a conference love each other…
