      • LONG long ago, the Cadre predicted creepy kiffin would get tossed out in 3-4 years. The cadre also predicted “BOOZY” would shoot himself in the foot hiring Goat Boys replacement. We LAUGHED last year while fans of FIG TECH boasted of the incoming recruiting class! It’s been a while since we’ve been wrong about anything! Fig tech has TWO chances of landing Baker…and “SLIM” has just left the building.

          • USC was my FIRST choice. I also applied to Notre Dame and got accepted because the priest of my church wrote a good reference for me. Yes, I’m Catholic. But I chose SC because of Cali, weather, and reputation. Ugly was never an option for me, alway thought of it as a fall back choice. Never applied, never wanted to. UCLA was never a thought for me, it truly was a NO choice, not even SECOND. And look at me now. Captain for Aeromexico, 15,000 plus or minus flying hours.

  2. Me thinks that he wants to go to UCLA so he can enjoy the long commute from UGLY to Pasadena. Nothing says home field advantage like having to drive over an hour to your home stadium. UGLY Eat My Shorts!!

      • He was criticizing the commute. By the way, I went to SC in the late eighties and had no problems with the campus and location at all. It is nice to tailgate on campus and walk with the band to the game, not commute by car or shuttle bus. Also, why do you put the $ sign instead of the S in USC? Is that supposed to be an insult? That’s just as LAME as your bookstore putting up the “two in a row” signage up. Where would you baby bears be without USC? You base your football team’s performance by comparing it to USC’s. Do you see us going around saying “50-0” all the time like you pukes like to quote scores? Do you see a sign in the USC bookstore saying, “USC, winner of the last 12 out 15 against UCLA?” Of course not. UCLA IS NOT our main rival in football as much as you pukes want us to be. Notre Dame is!

Scott Wolf said in his Friday chat that preservation of free speech is far more important than a premiere, detail-oriented product with his name on it. Go read the transcript. This board is a joke and it’s empowered popping off by snot-noses like Annnnus Numbus (guarantee he’s a recent grad because all he knows about is the last two victories for them and nothing about the 20 games they trail in the series or the fact that UCLA hasn’t won a Rosebowl or anything remotely meaningful in almost 30 years) instead of meaningful dialogue for interested parties. How the LA Daily News can associate with this, I shall never know. Only an amateur would support such nonsense.

          • Well, I believe in freedom of speech also. But that’s not the case here. This is a private company’s blog, and they have every right to censor if they want. I really don’t know what the heck is going on here. Really, I just want to come here and read about USC “inside” stuff, because after all, its called “Inside USC.” And make a few comments on the issues. But making a comment automatically makes me a target for all these idiot trolls, which angers me, and then I post something which maybe I never would in the first place. So what is going on? If he did, he’d prove me wrong by paying close attention to his writing (replete with type-os, mis-spellings and improper tenses) and by demanding football discussion herein rather than empowering powder blue boys and their affection with “crotches” and kicks.           • I’m kind of wondering too how come there are sooooo many trolls here vs. our Scout or Rivals boards. Does anyone monitor this or is this just a way to gain more traffic? I can see the ladder, as I come to see what nonsense the trolls post. So I’m thinking many of the trolls, not all, are manufactured. Think about it, Charlie and Thai type extremely alike.   3. That is some incredible film of Budda Baker. He would have a shot at replacing Marquise Lee or Dion Bailey instantly on athleticism alone let as well as his instincts and player smarts. He could have a shot at tailback as well even though that position is stacked with talent, although last year was left with only two runners able to play. He would be a big hit in LA and could be a factor in the turnaround of USC as it comes off scholarship reductions. He’s tough and would fit in with the core of leaders on the team. USC’s promised up tempo game may have its advantages in attracting talent if he decides to bring his game to USC. He could fill the Coliseum with 100,000. Interesting development.

    • He’s Myles Jack’s former HS team mate, he’s looking at Washington and UCLA, only. So move on.

  4. Baker would be a great addition to a backfield that is very weak. Will he come down here now that Sark & Wilcox have moved? Oregon evidently is no longer the choice. It is probably between UW, UCLA & USC now and whether he wants to be too far away from his ailing mother.

    • Bucket claimed he was doing jury duty. Funny thing is – there were way less trolls when he wasn’t around. Probably because the same person/couple of people are behind most of the troll accounts.

      • Juju didn’t pass the entrance exam to UCLA, which is why UCLA stopped recruiting him, but I’m sure he passed yours. How difficult can it be at USC, counting to 3 then backwards to zero?

          • No jacjass, UCLA simply states they stopped recruiting him, to not embarrass the recruits. As was the case with DAT, Marshawn Lynch, Desean Jackson, and your own Josh Shaw, although in Josh Shaw’s case it did leak publicly, through Shaw, not UCLA. You appear to be a geek that just recently began following CFB.

  7. So wait…Baker didn’t commit to Sark while at UW and never really considered SC, but now that Sark, the coach who couldn’t keep local talent in washington, is at SC, the Trogans are an option? LOL.

  8. UW sites are reporting that his second favorite is Washington and he is visiting them soon.

    Say he likes UW because previous experience with Sark and he considers USC – USC is going to have to make some tough calls to drop kids if they start picking up these other decommits.
