Safety John Smith, Offensive Lineman Damien Mama Push Back Visits

Safety John Smith of Long Beach Poly and offensive guard Damien Mama of St. John Bosco were originally expected to visit USC this weekend. Because of all-star football game this weekend, each pushed their visit back to next week.

That leaves 3 uncommitted visitors: Safety Drew Lewis of Sammamish (Wash.); wide receiver Charles Nelson of Daytona Beach and athlete Michiah Quick of Fresno.

  1. Less than three weeks til early signing day (2/4/14), and the Crosstown recruiting race is once again tight:
ESPN: USC #23, UCLA #26 (6 ESPN Top 300 each)
Rivals: UCLA #20, USC #23 (3.56 vs 3.59 star avg)
Scout: USC #19, UCLA #24 (3.53 vs 3.60 star avg)

    • We were rated high early last year, too. You know how that turned out.

Even with the scholarships from last year, we won’t have enough numbers to compete with your recruiting class.

How many offensive linemen did you guys get last year? 5 or something?

      • Last year’s Bruin OL haul was big–we landed seven, including Redmond (Freshman All-American), Benenoch, and Queensbury, all of whom started this year. One more year and then SC is out of recruiting jail… still should be a good class for you guys.

    • Good job you A$$HOLE !!! attack a kids weight… good job… hope you feel great about yourself hiding behind a Keyboard and attacking a 17 year old KID!!!! You’re a typical coward !!! Disgusting …You just put yourself on the level of a CHILD RAPIST !!!2

      • After his mission (to get to 450 lbs)is complete , the kid won’t be much of a contributor…Another SUCks 5 star casualty.
I hope the kid can get his eating habits under control and live a long healthy life…
        fit Un!

        • Just like your Lineman did on his Mormon trip… you assumptious A$$hole no better IN LOWERING YOURSELF LIKE CHILD RAPIST … go kick your dog wearing that Reggie Bush USC jersey!!!!
