  1. These projections are about as accurate as predicting which school Adoree will attend…impossible! These predictions usually assume each team picks their exact spot (don’t trade their pick), and assume that team wants that position of player (as opposed to picking the biggest talent available). Wish there were % grades on all these prognosticators…

    • How bad is your life when you know more about the school you supposedly “hate” than their own fans?

I’ve hated teams before, but never knew in detail the status of every bench warmer, assistant coach, etc.

      Pathetic.

      • But that’s because your job is to cover USC, Gary Klein. How bad is your life that you come over to your rival’s blog to make snotty comments?

          • It goes back to when I posted what Wolf was doing during the press conferences and when I brought to his attention that I rarely saw him DURING practice.

Obviously, Wolf is his childhood idol and he gets upset when I tell things as I saw them. I said Wolf was socially awkward in person and doesn’t really hang out with the rest of the media and it was too much for the kid to take!

      • I know college football! The fact that I know more about your team than you do speaks volumes as to what sort of fan you are. Rest assured, I know far more about UCLA than I do SC.

        • So do I. The big difference is, you are a lowly troll who celebrates a kid getting kicked out of a rare opportunity.

When Tevin McDonald got booted off UCLA’s team, I didn’t celebrate. He now plays for a much inferior program and might have killed his shot at the NFL.

As much as I might have poked fun at Kevin Prince, the reality is that I met him during one of the camps and seemed like a bright young man. He wanted to have a pro day, but knew it was a long shot and already had plans for Real Estate (if I remember correctly) with people he knew. This was after Hundley was already expected to be named the starter.

He didn’t turn out to be an NFL prospect or even NCAA a star for that matter, but he got an opportunity to start for a big program.

Something you and I never had.

          • I’m not celebrating. Just noting the further erosion of the once-mighty Trogan football program. That said, if a kid can’t keep it together, that’s not on me, whether he be a Trogan or a MIGHTY BRUIN.

And please don’t assume you know what I had in college as an athlete. There’s a reason I know the two schools so well.

          • Yeah, sure. You were a stud athlete with a full ride scholarship….. that now trolls USC boards full time.

            Something doesn’t add up.

          • Nice comments about Prince. Not a very good QB. Got hammered a lot. Took both physical and mental beatings and never complained. He is a quality individual and whoever hires him won’t be making a mistake.

          • If I remember right, I think he was going into business with a family member or friend. Whatever it was, he was clear on what he was going to do after college — something I can’t say was the case for me. (I changed careers.)

    • You’re right about the Rams. They have incredible acumen when it comes to building a roster, as their stellar W/L record over the last decade suggests.

  2. If this mock draft is anything near being correct, it just shows how dumb Hundley was to stay. He won’t be a top 3 QB next year. Poor kid. Mora pulled another fast one.

      • Hundley isn’t Barr. Barr is a pass rusher and there are very few as good as he is. Go take a look at all the QBs that can come out next year. Hundley was DUMB.

        • Did you read the article on LA Times about Hundley staying? Apparently the draft reports that came back were more mixed than people really though they would be. Kids typically get a range. For Hundley it was 1st to 4th round with improvement needed in critical areas. Some teams were excited, some teams thought he was a project.

With Mariota staying and several QBs hurt, it seemed better for Hundley to jump ship and cash in. It was cute, however, that UCLA made sure to include that they expected Hundley to go in the first four picks. Because, you know, save face.

        • UCLA under Mora has this ability to actually help players…get ready….wait for it…. IMPROVE while at school. I know this is foreign to Trogans these days after watching Barkley, Woods, Lee etc. see their stock fall while at school, but it is in fact happening at UCLA. Hundley be fine, don’t you worry your pretty little Trogan head.

  3. Wasn’t this supposed to be about Lee? I think the kid will be an outstanding pro and the Rams would be getting a quality player in Lee. Always scared me as a Bruin fan whenever Lee got the ball. Also liked the way he handled himself on and off the field.
