With Shay Fields no longer coming to USC, the Trojans have four scholarships available for their current recruiting class.

  1. Back to the subject of the noon chat, I’m starting to think that Wolf isn’t doing 100% of these blogs. The guy running the chat seemed much different that the person doing the blogs.

    Might be some college kid he hired to stir things up? The kid likely posts in the comments as well?

    • Charlie Bucket and/or Thai Mex would be my guess. I got real curious one morning, when I got home from work around 3am, was gone all the previous day, and came on here to check out the day’s news. Scotty posted something about that time, and MINUTES later, both Charlie and Thai Mex posted. And those posts were also a couple minutes apart.

    • Scott made an interesting crack about the moderator being 13. When I did get a response from the mod, it was that they check the flagged comments. Still, who has the time in their life to troll a blog for almost a decade?

      • I haven’t been to the bRUIN Daily News blog, so can anyone, other than bRUIN trolls, tell me if there are USC trolls on it who post similarly like Charlie and Thai?

        • nope…in fact Bruin fans don’t even go to that sight … they’re all here hating ….no joke!

          • I go there as much as I go here…Wang just doesn’t update anything or have any news. Most of my time on any of these is spent on Scout.

        • Nobody can post as much as those guys…but Joe Blow aka Joseph B. Lowe posts quite often. I have seen a couple others from time to time that are fairly tame and not into the middle-school humor too much. So, yes there are some. There might be more if Wang posted more often and ran topics such as USC v. UCLA.

          • Nobody takes you seriously JBL, except one guy that wants you to commit suicide…he may need to increase his meds. You are unintentionally hilarious…I will grant you that. You are the Master Baiter…no doubt.

          • He needed to lighten up…just a bit. Anyone that takes this stuff too seriously needs some help.

          • And not just sports. Even if I think you are SOOOOOO wrong on any subject, the last thing I’d suggest is what Marc did. Usually that is the way ignorant people respond. It’s like the idiots in Seattle throwing stuff at the 49er as he’s being wheeled out, or the Dodger fans that beat up the Giants fan or the Giants fan that shot the Dodger fan in SF. What do these people think?

          • There are tools everywhere that root for every team and every school. And there are plenty out there that can’t take a joke. Now there are some jokes that cross the line…usually made by the same tools.

          • You’re a little late TFan. Over on Wang’s blog someone was telling JB Lowe that he should kill himself…just seemed a bit over the top. Kind of like Sgt. Hulka in Stripes when he said “lighten up Francis.”

        • I think the consensus is that USC fans do not care about UCLA the way UCLA fans care about USC. Mediocre tends not to matter much.

  3. Three more three-stars to round out this disappointing class. Way to go, Sarkiffian on bringing in mediocrity!

      • LOL do you think the bRuin trolls actually know anything about the bRuin program?

        • Well some of us do know what’s going on with our program. And right now, the 2 programs have incoming classes that are very even. It’s still a long way to signing day and some of the star ratings are way off on a regular basis and mean very little. Some services had Myles Jack as a 3 star and I think Zach Banner for SC was a 5 star. For either school, SC or UCLA to be bragging too loudly about a class ranking is a little silly.

          Also, SC will still have depth issues because of scholarship restrictions. All that being said, this year is a very intriguing recruiting season.

          • The only rankings that matter are at the end of the season…not recruiting rankings. We will see where the chips fall in 2014.

            The bRuins are on their way to ANOTHER National Championship run, with their future Heisman winner and #1 Recruiting Class.

          • JBL is a 1/2 star poster and Mama is a 5 star in the buffet line….and then off to his Mormon mission and/or BYU. We need more 5 stars like Zach Banner and Robert Woods.

  5. I had a good laugh this morning when I heard “Cyrus Hobbi has flunked out of school”….I heard he ran out of Crayons!
