Tight end Bryce Dixon of St. Bonaventure will be visited today by USC linebackers coach Peter Sirmon and tight ends coach Marques Tuiasosopo.

  1. BD will visit UCLA on Jan. 31 and it’s highly possible BD will flip to UCLA. Bubble screens rarely feature TE’s.

  2. Just amazing how UCLA people envy the USC experience enough to hang out on USC site. Guess the UCLA Womens softball sites leave a little to be desired? Here is to hoping UCLA brings home some kind of title in football over the next 20 years cause the last 20 have been a little light. 8 clap on!!!!

    • FYI Timmy Oldman: From 1/1923 to 1/1975 SUCC went to 20 RB’s; going 14 and 6.
      *From 1/1977 to 1/1996 SUCC went to 8 RB’s; going 7 and 1.
      **From 1/2004 to 12/31/2013 SUCC went to 5 RB’s; going 4 and 1. So in the last 38 years SUCC’s Rose Bowl game % has nosed dived considerably. So lets keep that in mind when trying to throw SUCC mud to see what sticks on UCLA’s Football wall.

      • Just curious if you can provide your bruins Rose Bowl appearances and their record for comparison reasons. SC’s has declined because they were playing in National Championships and allowing the 2nd best team in PAC 10 to play. Was UCLA even able to make the Rose Bowl when SC was playing in their championship games?

    • Why would Mazzone want a TE? According to Fauria when he was getting interviewed by Petros, Mazzone reluctantly used the TE in the offense during his senior year.

      Last year, how many receptions did the TEs have combined? I don’t even know their names.

        • In that case, still not the place to go if you want to be an NFL prospect.

          Mazzone has said countless times he doesn’t believe in a #1 WR or “star” receiver. His scheme and play calling relies more on a “spread the wealth” mentality of no-name receivers. Come to think of it, wasn’t Rosario the last WR to go over 1,000 for them? And he went undrafted.

          I guess if someone wants to be a no-name receiver, UCLA would be a perfect fit.

          • Not to mention Bryce is shopping a so called package deal ….rumor is , is that he wants his best friend to come with him who plays corner for st. bonnie Davonte Nunnery A TWO STAR RECRUIT… USC and UCLA have given him preferred walk-on status and UCLA will give him a schollie if they have any left over.

  5. USC will never go away little gutties. You should have made up more ground and distanced yourself from USC while they were down. You didn’t do enough, USC will be back at full strength soon and you will return to your role as stepchild.

      • Even in these two years of UCLA “greatness,” UCLA has not gone to a BCS bowl, let alone an NC and has not had a Heisman winner. Sure, you beat USC twice, I give you that, both good wins. But thats it!!!! If it wasn’t for USC, UCLA football would be nothing.
