The JC transfer defensive tackle was not at USC today and is still not officially enrolled. He has about 10 more days to clear up his academic status at Mesa Community College to enroll at USC for the spring semester.

Juco guys are impossible to baby sit. They’re out of the house, doing their thing. They’re all bigger gambles, especially academically if they came into the juco ranks as non-qualifiers. If he makes it, Pelon is likely worth the gamble. Good FB player. The alternative is not to touch him in the first place. USC needs to take some gambles because of their situation. USC coaches have plenty of time and money. What we need is more talent.
How do you know he didn’t? Took Darreus Rogers a year to get in. ..give it 10 days then you can castrate Sark all you want. BTW recruiting time and money is an investment in more than just the present..it is all about connections and treating people right, FS.

I am not especially enamored with Sark but it was reasonably well known that Jordan needed only to clean up a math course and he would be good to go (BTW Pelon is Spanish for bald). However the clock is ticking, which would cause one to wonder if the deadline to enroll will be met.
If he doesn’t make grades, Mora can take him.

Well here’s the real question, if he doesn’t get admitted in time, will Sark use one of the extremely valuable fall scholarships on the kid or does he tell Pelon to look elsewhere? Personally I have no problem with him telling Pelon that his offer was contingent upon early entry since you guys are looking good for Adoree, Mama, and Smith.
I’m sure team Sark has a back up plan… Kid from Bama DT is visiting… Another Bama pick pocket?
