  3. This is why none of them committed after visiting USC. Which Scotty then made a big deal about. They want their TV time, dude.

    Am I the only one that thinks the whole TV announcements for 18 year olds is a little much, though? It’s like a ton of Lebrons running around.

    • Its really out of control now, has been for awhile. I went to a small high school in Oregon, and now, they are having press conferences for their athletes. I’m talking for minor sports too like wrestling, for going to colleges like Southern Oregon, and crud like that. Just soooo stupid, IMHO.

      • I’ve seen the same thing as you said: kids getting on local TV for picking small colleges. It’s ridiculous. Then, people wonder why some of the players have maturity issues usually what scouts write down is that there are “leadership issues.” What they really mean is that the kid acts like an entitled brat.

    • I totally agree with you. The Internet age and social media has created these attention monsters. The only thing these stunts do is alert sports agents as to who is the most vulnerable to being scammed.

    • Well if what I’m hearing is true, and I don’t believe it … One commit is going to flip to USC and well it’s gonna make big time News if this is true…. I have hard time believing it, but apparently this kid is really considering USC…. Don’t want to put his name up for the Trolls, but he’s a top 10 player overall on everyones list.
