Oregon Still Pursuing Safety John `Juju’ Smith
Oregon coaches are scheduled to visit Long Beach Poly safety John “Juju” Smith tonight. Steve Sarkisian was at Long Beach Poly this morning to visit the highly regard safety.

Should USC Take Fred Warner Or Lamont Simmons?
With limited scholarships and USC waiting to hear from the big three (Adoree Jackson, Damien Mama, John Smith) there could be some hard choices in the next week. One could be whether USC takes linebacker Fred Warner (a midweek visitor) or cornerback Lamont Simmons.
Does USC need a four-star LB more than a three-star CB? That’s the dilemma.
USC Morning Buzz: Tosh Lupoi Cleared? Potentially Good For Steve Sarkisian
There were some reports Wednesday night that former Washington assistant coach Tosh Lupoi would be cleared of any wrongdoing regarding allegations he paid for online classes and tutoring for a recruit.
Lupoi is a free agent following a mutual separation agreement with Washington. It is too late obviously for Lupoi to come to USC. But if he is cleared, this would also let Steve Sarkisian off the hook for any potential sanctions from the NCAA. So that would come off as a huge relief to Sarkisian.
Meanwhile, backup quarterback Max Wittek said Wednesday he would transfer to another school. And linebacker Fred Warner made his official visit to USC on Wednesday. He is currently committed to BYU.

Notre Dame Stadium Project Con’t.
Will it be embarrassing if Notre Dame starts its football stadium improvements before USC starts any renovations at the Coliseum? The Irish expect to start within two years. USC said it will take at least a year before anything is done, including things that might not be considered huge changes like replacing seats.
Offensive Lineman Damien Mama Down To Three Schools
The St. John Bosco offensive linemen said he will pick between USC, Alabama and BYU but pretty much everyone expects him to commit to the Trojans. The bigger question for Mama might be if he goes on Mormon mission.
