    “I’ll details tonight…”

I’m reading where Adoree Jackson is a great young person but was having trouble getting to high school classes on time and eventually had to move out of his sister’s residence into housing with his coaches. For anybody college is a real shock. If you want to play football or run track on a free ride scholarship you have to study, go to study hall, meet with your tutors, go to your team meetings, watch film, and above all go to class without falling asleep. It is sort of regimented like a boot camp. That is the same everywhere: Florida, LSU, UCLA and USC. If I were Adoree I would have asked someone like Leonard Williams or Javorius Allen how they were able to come to USC from Florida and adjust to such regimentation? If I were Adoree I would just pick USC where he would be close to his sister who cares about him enough to give him tough love when he needs it and counsel about picking schools when he needs it. As positive a person as Adoree is described there is always the possibility of academically washing out in the first year. Once again, I wouldn’t risk going to some unknown place for him without family support or advocacy on behalf of Adoree should he need it. Even psychologist Laura Schlesinger had to show up at her son’s boot camp to keep him in the Marines. Every guy his age wants to get away and live his own life. Don’t blame him. But in our society you have to work hard to get economic freedom. That means toughing it out in college and learning to do what you don’t want to do but having fun along the way. If he wants a school where “the network” as it is called around USC will encircle Adoree and help him if he asks, then USC should be his decision.

Adoree seems all about him and not about the team. I would be worried about a Cam replay with him.

Hey bucket, get your questions ready! I’m sure they will be worth a few laughs!
