    • Warner is all BYU. If Jabril Frazier chose USC, it would be a midyear and counted against 2015 according to Conquest.

      • Edit to what I said: I guess it depends on JuJu now. If he doesn’t commit to USC, Frazier can take the last spot or USC can keep the scholarship for next year (but why do that if Frazier wants to come instead of being midyear?)

Reports are that Frazier and JuJu decide at the same time (about 1:00pm) unless things have changed.

  1. Looks like Adorable didn’t want to compete! Another 5* George Farmer lite Serra bust!

    • I agree , USC needs to stop with the “smoke and mirror” games with that offensive line , because the only NFL talent that starts is Max Turek . They have had too many 4&5 star busts on that line over the last 4 years then ever before .

    • I hope 2 of these guys can play immediately. At 370 lbs, Mama redshirting would be as odd as Bigelow last year.

  2. Little Gutties taking it on the chin today. Their class certainly isn’t bad and they have some pretty good signees. But they missed on the big fish and will need to change their strategy if they want to avoid this type of result. Need to focus in Calif more intently. UCLA missed out on a chance to really swat USC with this class. Instead, Trojans caught up a bit, even with fewer players. Got to hand it to Sark as a recruiter. Job well done.

    • Biggest miss has been on the WR front for us. We should sign one or two good RB’s before it all comes to an end. UCLA has both talent and depth across the board and very deep on defense.

Next year is a more important recruiting year for us as SC has a full complement of scholarships and the 2015 class is a bit stronger in California. I still like our chances on the field this year.

It also remains to be seen if Sark can coach these guys or not. I am not a Sark fan but he has never had this level of talent to coach before so the result could be different. If he wants to keep his job, it better be.

      • Bruins should be great (and I mean great!) on the field next year, but I’m talking about recruiting now. Sark has big-time questions remaining about his ability, but he proved he can manage an excellent signing group today and things look a lot better today than they did yesterday for USC IMHO.

        • We still have a ways to go in recruiting and that requires winning big games. Jackson grew up watching Reggie Bush. A lot of these kids grew up as SC fans. The only thing that changes that is winning. Mora is now getting after it and the fact that some people are disappointed with this class shows how much he has raised the expectations. If we don’t have a real strong year on the field next year, then it is an uphill battle again.

          • After the Bruins thump Southern Cal again this year, there will be several sick relatives to get them out of their scholarships! Soon To Be Sick Grannie On!

          • Yeah sure. Tell yourself whatever lies you need to believe to feel worthy. Bottom line, the MARKET spoke. There is only one school in LA even if you win once in awhile. Monopoly.

          • The score was UCLA 35 – succ 14. SUCC displays a huge plastic DM and UCLA displays the victory bell.

      • You knew where guys were likely headed. I didn’t see any surprises for UCLA on signing day. It was already a strong class with the guys who committed earlier.

Even as an SC fan, what does it say about a player when someone has a diva-like last minute commitment? (assuming they already knew where they were going).

As a fan of LA sports, the Dwight Howard act is irritating.

        • I’d still much rather take a chance on a diva like Adoree than watch him take his chances somewhere else, or worse yet, on a rival’s roster. Adoree is definitely a problem I don’t mind having.

          • This. I too am tired of the Lebron antics and I stick by my statements calling Adoree a drama king. But, I’d rather him play for my team than against it. He’s explosive which I like. However, I prefer having humble kids that don’t mind being all for the team instead of being about the individual.

          • You don’t think we wish we had him too? Definitely a diva, but better a diva that can play than a diva that can’t. We all feed into creating these divas by watching all this stuff and building it up. His name seems to fit his persona.

          • You’re right: the media culture turns these men into divas. Sort of reminds me of Joe in the large fur coat. I say take all the signing day crap off TV and let these kids announce through their chosen universities.

          • Will you EVER learn the English language, lady?
A proper sentence cannot contain a single word such as “This,” to be complete!
Furthermore, your posts are often without substance, and quite frankly – boring. Very disappointed with your association with SC as average as you appear to be… sorry, just had to come out and say it – just as you have to me in the past (I will NEVER forget, just like the bRuins will never forget 50 to 0 – chortle, chortle)
This is a special time to be a Trojan, and no room for punctuation or grammatical errors ONE BIT in these posts! Shape up, or become another bRuin troll!
            :))) Have a nice day!

          • LOL. You discussing grammar is hilarity. Hey, you still a little sore from the pounding Bieber gave you last night?

          • Luuuulllllzzzzzzz :0 your vag ache from that cucumber your gf was hammering in there?
What do you do with her anyway, like ‘scissors’ or something?

          • It’s funny but UCLA and USC are currently back to back in both Scout and Rivals with SC ahead by 1 slot in each ranking and about the same in the average star rating per player and today it seems as if everyone thinks SC was the “big” winner because of the last 3 commits. The reality may not be that one sided. It looks to be very competitive into the future.

          • Just the fact that we can be compared against non sanctioned schools speak volumes. However, like you said in another post, NUMBERS assure you that you’ll end up with some solid starters and some depth. The 5 star guys will need to pan out.

Regardless, with our limited numbers, I’m pleased with our class. Couldn’t ask for more.
