Does USC Have A Chance Against UCLA?

When I spoke to Pac-12 Network analyst Matt Matt Muehlebach two weeks ago, he said Arizona and UCLA were the only two teams USC could not beat. Do you agree?

The Trojans were routed by the Bruins last month at Pauley Pavilion. Can wounded pride make tonight’s game a lot closer? Do you think USC can win?

  1. All the pressure is on bel-air tech – they lose this game and man that is one major major loss – not likely but in a rivalry anything is possible.

  2. My Prediction: bucket will streak across the court wearing his Alcindor special, disgusting!

  3. the game was much closer than most expected, and USC even was up at half time. Take away the missed FT’s by SC, and the momentum switch that happens when a team doesn’t get those points, and it could have been an upset.

But could have, is what others might call a moral victory, and that still gets placed in the column that is headed by “L”

    • Bruins were favored by 10. Seems about right in the end. Bookies must be very happy. Wolf didn’t mention the Gold Sheet…not sure if they do basketball. Maybe he can let us know.

    • We suck up and down. So we were up by 10, makes the loss worse. this is why they call us Shoulda Coulda U!

  4. I was at the game, and I was one of six Bruins inside that VIP bar at the Galen Center, we got lots of dirty looks, but no one made any rude comments. 🙂

I must also say – not just because UCLA won, my experience at the Galen Center was a very pleasant one, they greeted us upon arriving, and said goodnight upon leaving. Unlike the a$$holes that work the coliseum, the staff at the Galen Center was very cordial, professional, and very helpful in helping my friend find his lost Cell phone after the game.
