  1. It’d be great for our team to find another guy like Ken Norton Jr. He definitely seems to know how to develop linebackers, and he’s proven it both at USC and now in Seattle. Those linebackers who played under Carroll and Norton have been extraordinary, to say the least.

    • Amen esp. if he was an ex-bel-airian as Ken Norton Jr. was – everyone forgets about how awful Karl Dorrell.

      • I’m sure Norton Jr. is one of the ultimate traitors in the eyes of many bRuins. But wait, I wonder how much love that extraordinary coach Dorrell might have for his alma mater these days. Quite a bit, I imagine? lol.

        • We blame Dorrell for that decison and Guerrero for hiring Dorrell over Mike Riley. Really bad timing to hire a totally inexperienced head coach at the same time SC got on a roll. Bruins are still paying the price in recruiting.

          • What pissed Norton off was he went to Dorrell Press conference to support him cause they were teammates …He shook his hand and was never considered.

      • And one more thing…I don’t think Dorrell’s SUCLA teams were that bad. It’s more like our teams under Carroll were so extraordinarily good in those years.

    • Remember when Karl Dorrell refused to hire Ken Norton Jr. ..lol !! He said Norton did not have enough experience , but UCLA took a chance on him without any experience …didn’t they ? I remember some of the top High School recruits that eventually signed with USC said Dorrell never stopped by their homes for a visit…really ? He messed up a great opportunity for himself by not surrounding himself with top notch assistants and being a “know it all ” !!

    • The Fat Booster was making history this weekend, becoming the first openly gay college football booster. It took guts, I’ll give him that.

  2. Sarkisian has built a top notch staff. One year away from a title game. Take that to the bank.
