  1. Wittek is graduating from SC so he can play right away, right? Good luck to him, would have thought those schools could do better.

      • Amen TF – that or Kessler was flat out a lot better than any of us knew and the new kids I hope are given an opportunity to replace Kessler.

        • Maybe the Coaching staff at LIMBO U destroyed this young man. He came in as one of the MOST Heavily RECRUITED Quarterbacks in the nation…he was a CAN’T miss prospect who was RUINED by the MORONS in charge of Coaching. Maybe he didn’t want to stick around and play for a LIFER 500 Coach?
          Fit Un!

          • Um. Check Wittek’s high school tapes. His passes are errant half of the time. He was rated highly in part due to a strong arm and the believed upside if he were able to become accurate.

            Poor attempt at trolling.

          • Silly little Torgan Boy…..Recruits aren’t projected and given “STARS” based on “believed upside”….Comprende?
Mama, Jackson, and Juju weren’t given stars because of “believed upside”….Wittek was a 4 star recruit, ranked as the # 7 in state, and #3 at his position…He was labeled “Can’t miss” and your dodo former head coach screwed the young man. Seven Win Sarkiffian has come in…but it is perceived as “more Of The Same”.
Get some needed fresh air…the smell of wino urine has you looking DUMBER than usual.

          • Bucket, please. Upside is all over recruit rankings from high school to the NFL combine. There is a lot of subjectivity that goes on in ranking recruits – some of it has to do with how well someone thinks their abilities will transfer to the next level. Why do you think we have scouting combines?

          • Scouting Combines are for the guys who have already proven they can compete….If they existed to look at guys with upside….why wouldn’t every NCAA football player be invited….huh?

Tough to grasp? Try this one…Stay inside the lines when coloring…the lines are your friends!
            fit Un knuckleheads!

          • Oh, ThaiMex. Always the one for a strawman.

Scouting combines are for the ones that haven proven they can compete? That’s mostly true, although it isn’t what we were talking about. How many kids have not been invited despite “proving” themselves? Many, actually. Breslin is a solid player, but was a transfer who later got hurt so he lacked the air time to make up for the injury. There are a few others at the combine who haven’t really “proven” anything but they were lucky to get a nod (that’s why there are features stories of some kid who expected to have to prove himself on Pro Day). They have shown some talent on the college field, scouts believe they could make it in the NFL, some kids get the nod that shouldn’t, and others fall through the cracks.

Rosters are filled with walk-ons and backups that never see the field. Of course these guys are not going to get invited. Their only chance is a solid Pro Day if their schools host them.

You still haven’t addressed how subjectivity comes into play, yet you call everyone else dumb for concepts you fail to understand. Have a whisky, Bucket/ThaiMex, you’ll feel better.

  2. You should never believe a coach when he says 1) you will be the starter and 2) you will throw 50 passes per game. Either someone is feeding Wittek some bull or Scottie is making this up.

  3. Max Wittek should stay away from Texas , because they are more prone to bring in a High School All American Quarterback next year that will take his job . TCU is a high profile program , that establishes the running game year after year , which will allow Wittek to develop his skills .
