USC’s Shooting Remains An Issue For Andy Enfield

Andy Enfield started out as a “shot doctor” and shooting coach for the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics. But USC is 10th in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage and 11th in free throws. Story link here

Too bad USC. Steve Alfred was available. Not anymore!

    • B.Miller

Good Job keeping up on everything USC..

      • SUCC de trop

It’s not hard BM, because all anybody needs to do is check the Pac 12 BB standings to discover how uncompetitive the SUCC Sugar Rayette’s BB team really is.

        • FIGHTONtoVICTORY

or they could spend the majority of their days on a USC blog.

          • SUCC de trop

Sure, like you do F to V.

        • Jethro G Sabbath

          Leave B.Miller alone.

Steve or Alfred? The Alford brothers are quite different people

      • WESTWOOD ROB

Huh? I’m talking about Steve Alfred who played b-ball for Bob Knight at Iowa. Are you talking Allman Brothers?

        • TrojanFamily

You might want to research your own alleged team rather than troll this board. Steve Alfred never played for Bob Knight. Steve Alford did. You still going to try to claim you are a Bruin fan?

          • WESTWOOD ROB

Well I was right about the Iowa part at least. NCAA champs.

          • ScottWolfSniffsHisOwnFarts

Are you sure Bobby Knight coached at Iowa?

          • WESTWOOD ROB

What does he go by Robert now?

          • Arturo

            Bruin trolls aren’t very smart.

    • gotroy22

      You mean Gloria Allred?

      • WESTWOOD ROB

He has a sister coaching women’s b-ball? Like Cheryl Miller?

  • SUCC de trop

And twelfth in Pac 12 BB standings. But Andy’s wife is still gorgeous. SUCC slapstick BB fights on.

  • UCLA Dynasty

Typical SCCC antics. All talk, no walk, he’s a perfect fit. Wonder who is laughing more at him, Steve Alford or Tim Floyd.

Meanwhile, UCLA will celebrate the legacy of all time great Kareem Abdul Jabar with new shoes designed by Jay Z. What could SCCC drum up, some Pro Keds for Paul Westhead designed by Milli Vanilli?

    You guys are such loosers.

    • FIGHTONtoVICTORY

Are you really bragging about Jay-Z designing a shoe?

      • SaferInWestwood

Can’t get any worse than making a big announcement for your new BBall mascot named “Traveler” to kick off your season, which of “The Three Amigos” thought of that and said “hey that sounds like it’ll work” Pat, Lame or Ed. O? ha!

Is it just me or is it raining crotch kicks buh bam!!

        • FIGHTONtoVICTORY

Lane and Ed, the football coaches, had a say in the basketball mascot. That makes sense. You trolls are really scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

          • SaferInWestwood

Thats were I go to find SC BBall stats… .

            Swoosh!!!

        • TrojanFamily

          Hi Chuckles!

Yet again, real meN do not kick one another in the crotch. They look each other in the eye and punch each other in the face.

So your use of the metaphor is quite apt.

    • Larry Harris

Kareem Abdul Jabar never played college basketball, much less, for ucla.

:Punk CIty is really taking OFF!!!
so big-mouth Enfield can’t even teach free throw????
some “shot dr”!! the trOXans couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a F&%#-ing BOAT!!!

    • SaferInWestwood

The team would probably have a better shooting % trying to hit li’l Andys big O gap.. .
      OOOOHHhhh swooosh!!

  • Golden Trojan

Well, Rome wasn’t built in a day and you can’t make chicken salad out of chicken feces.

    • Larry Harris

Good one! Best post of the day.

  • tostevinUSC

I have to ask… does Wolf like any of the USC coaches?

    • WEB_Dupree

Longtime readers of the blog may recall that Wolf really liked Kevin O’Neill in the early days; I was surprised to see Wolf take a sarcastic shot at O’Neill recently because he seemed to think the hire was a great idea at the time (not that Wolf didn’t have ample reason to change his mind). That’s the one example I can think of. Those old posts have probably vanished from the internet.

      • https://www.facebook.com/charles.bucket.3 Charlie Bucket

good observation…it did strike as odd when wolfman took a dig at CKO. i thought he liked CKO because unlike everyone else in HH, CKO did not take himself so seriously.
remember when they did those Pac12 adds with all the B-Ball coaches, CKO was the designated “funny guy”. i thought the fact he went out boozing with his old lady and picking fights was a pleasant human alternative to the plastic coaches in Pac12 including Howland, Montgomery, etc etc.

        • Larry Harris

Montgomery a plastic coach? Bruin AD would gladly give his left one for Mr. M, as would PH.

          • gotroy22

Funny that Mr M was hanging around SC practices a few years ago and we weren’t interested.

        • WEB_Dupree

The drunken parking lot fight was the kind of thing that’s hilarious when it’s not your own school’s coach. I guess even Wolf turned on him in the end.

  • Ron Fleishman

can’t teach to a lack of talent… always looking to bash Wolf…

  • UCLA Owns the Rose Bowl

Classic headline. That’s like saying, “Advancing German Troops Remain an Issue for Polish Army.”

  • anno nimus

Does he still have that giant wall size painting in the locker room that reads “USC owns L.A.”?

    • gotroy22

He definitley had a Rick Neuheisel like beginning to his time here.

      • anno nimus

        I would say so
