Max Wittek spent the weekend visiting Texas and seemed to love it.
“Everything about my trip (to Texas) was awesome,” Wittek told Orangebloods.com. “From the coaches to the players, the school, the campus – it all probably exceeded what I thought it would be.”
Wittek did not say he made a decision yet. I’ve already mentioned I think Texas is a less-than-ideal choice for Wittek because he should go somewhere he is guaranteed to start. TCU, Louisville and Hawaii are also in the mix.
I’ll go out on a limb here and say that Max Wittek probably knows better than some hack journalist as to what is an ideal choice for himself. I’ll go further out on the same limb and say that Max Wittek, as with most people, doesn’t really care what a hack journalist thinks he should do with his life. And now I’ll approach the far reaches of the limb, and say that the hack journalist should get his own life in order before he renders unsolicited personal and professional advice to others.
