  1. Wolfman, 29th IS NOT ranked!!! Anything after 25th is UNRANKED!!!

by this kooky criteria, the trOXans BASKETBALL team is ALSO ranked….163rd!!!

    buhhhhh-BAMMM!!!!

  2. Aaron Fitt of Baseball America gave the team a nice shout out on this week’s college baseball podcast. He was raving about Nigel Nootbaar and Vahn Bozoian, and pointed out that Omar Cotto, who hit the walk off on Sunday, was a speedster and leadoff hitter type. This week will be a heck of a test for the Trojans, down in Long Beach on Tuesday and then hosting ranked Cal Poly, who went into LA last weekend and took the series against UCLA. Should be a great week for some good baseball both in the LBC and at Dedeaux. I plan to be there Friday night. Maybe I’ll see some of you there.

  3. Nice poll. UNC is 3 – 3 and ranked above undefeated teams with 5 more wins. No wonder nobody gives a crap about college baseball until the CWS.

  4. Seven Wins against Division III opponents. Hmmmm, sounds like Sarkiffen is coaching baseball! Football Omen On!

    • Northwestern is a Big 10 school and Cal State Fullerton is a top 5 school. Thanks for playing, though.

      • Tell SUCCster’s how much practice did the mid west and eastern teams get during coldest winter in decades.

        • As much as the west coast teams. They practice indoors. All of these schools have indoor facilities. And the hours are regulated by the NCAA (as Frank Cruz discovered).

The far bigger issue for the cold weather teams is early season travel. They usually start their seasons with long road trips. This early in the season, the effects are considerably less. Weeks 3-4 are where it really shows up.

You might want to follow college baseball with Aaron Fitt. You’ve got plenty of time to check out his work. Cut into your trolling time.

          • Northwestern does not have an indoor facility condom family. Look it up. Like I say, SUCC is heavy on fairy facts.

          • Condom? Do you really lack that much creativity? Your mother must be so proud.

Northwestern has been using others’s indoor facilities until their own complex is built. They announced the project in Sept., 2012.

But it doesn’t matter. If USC wins, Pavlov’s Troll will figure out a way to cry (keep crying about USC’s football win vs Stanford and the National Championships with the idiotic spurious charges that unless it is unanimous it doesn’t count), call a few names, and then try to diminish it. Winning beats losing. Aaron Fitt is impressed with USC’s start. He is far more of an expert than some internet troll.

          • What “others” Wally? Be specific about the “other’s” you claim. You won’t admit Northwestern had minimal practice for the SUCC series. First it’s NW has a indoor facility, then it’s NW is borrowing a facility. How about the truth Condom Family: you don’t know what you’re talking about as usual.
