This is not exactly but confirmation of what was assumed all along as center Cyrus Hobbi is not on the roster released today. He was believed to have academic issues last semester.

So just to recap Condumb #3, UCLA punked SUCC 35 – 14, and as a result, UCLA now owns LA FB. If you write 50 – 0, 5 million times, it will not change the fact that UCLA still owns LA FB in 2014. But knock yourself out.

    • At least he was not an athlete accused of being a rapist of 3 different girls in good ol’ safe Westwood. It would appear that bruins have bigger fish to fry than to blow a smoke screen around a kid who was rehabing from injury before academic problems forced his hand. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t…. (I like this better than the rock analogy).

      BTW. Cyrus was not a heavyweight 5*. He was a 4*, same as the majority of our football players. Get your facts straight before attempting to diss. Otherwise it may lead to people think that you are just another pretty face with special cosmetics. I believe that ThighMex uses some drury repetitive analogy about a pig and lipstick to cover the situation.

      • 4 or 5 star is subjective. But Hobbs has flunked SUCC FB. That is hard to do in a private University with marginal academic requirements. When OJ graduated he could barely print. BTW, has the person, who robbed and killed two SUCC student on SUCC’s campus, been convicted yet?

  3. Are you referring to the same Gargamel who majored in remedial English? Don’t you think it’s just a little unfair to judge based on the least common denominator? Still, Gargamel is only a mouthpiece for Bucket/Reach Around/MarvGoux/Got Roy, etc., or is it the other way around?

  6. When you have limited scholarships, you need to keep the players you have in school! With all the Spanish courses at LA Trade Tech and “academic assistance” who does their assignments, there is no excuse at Southern Cal for having academic issues!
