Yet another USC source contacted me to say No. 5 will be given to Adoree Jackson. Wonder what the protocol is to explain it? Reggie Bush no longer won the Heisman? Bush doesn’t exist? Bush gave his blessing?

  4. I hope this kid works as hard as Bush – I see them as totally different types of players, outside of the explosiveness factor – if he bulks up like Bush did, then he’s not going to be breaking world records in the long jump – better he stay a corner back I suppose

  6. What did your “source” say to those questions? Bush did not win the Heisman. Bush’s opinion doesn’t count. Nobody cares if Bush gives his blessing!

  9. I’m pretty sure Bush does exist, so it’s not all of the above.

    I don’t think there is a protocol. The number was taken down, no longer has a Heisman attached to it and is no longer retired. A kid wants it. End of story.
