Now that I have a moment, I’ll expand on my earlier post. The scouts were talking about the fast 40 times at UCLA and questioned if they were real. “Those times were flying and I didn’t see any guys flying,” one scout said.

    • No, Jersey Joe, I’m afraid SUCC wrote the text book on hypocrisy and lying. That book should be available in its 15th printing at the Rah-Rah bookstore. BTW, the SUCC FB program sanctions are still in effect until 6/2014. Thanks for sharing.

      • Actually, I think Hillary just gave a speech…but hey…the school should only invite Republicans? Or perhaps you can invite Mohammed Morsi back to speak? Would that be better?

          • I don’t know..nor do you…what she actually knew. Not defending her on Benghazi…but even Reagan was responsible for the death of 19 soldiers in Lebanon and then pulled out. Should that preclude him from having the National Airport named after him? They even named the UCLA hospital the Ronald Reagan Medical Center after he gutted the funding for the UC’s as governor. What I am saying is that having someone on either side speak at the campus is not an endorsement. It is called educational to hear both sides. I see that the Schwarzenegger Center had Chris Mathews from MSNBC on speakers from both sides of the aisle. You think that is a bad thing?

      • Funny you should mention “business as usual.” Recently, SUCC: the Univ., whom Forbes Magazine lists as the 67th most reputable Univ. in the world for 2014, has hammered out a SUCC version of academic simony deal with Arnold Schwarzengger.
        In return for Arnie’s generous 20 million $$ donation, SUCC has agreed to install Arnie as the Governor Downey, Professor of State and Global Policy @ SUCC’s brand new institute of State and Global Policy. You just can’t make this stuff up gotroy22.

        • SUCC…that is pretty funny. While they are bashing Hillary and also Bill for his misdeeds in the Oval Office, they hop in bed with a guy that makes Bill look like a rank amateur. I think Arnie’s favorite song was Neil Young’s “A Man Needs a Maid.” Where is all the righteous indignation? There seems to be enough hypocrisy to go around for everyone!

The Iraq Liberation Act does not ratify murder. GWB used WMD as basis for invasion, even though GWB knew MWD premise was a lie. So, your question gotroy22 is the same, enumerate the US benefits of GWB’s contemptible trillion $$$ war on Irag.

Third, are you forgetting that Bush/Cheney did NOTHING when Russia invaded Georgia? So, I don’t think you can put this on Hillary. When do we actually start blaming the guy that did the crime?             Putin also knows we are tired of war and the public would never support us getting involved. Gee…I wonder who led us into war? Now, on that front, blame Hillary a little. She voted for the war in Iraq and believed the lying, conniving Darth Vader Cheney.

  3. In case SUCC fans missed it, SUCC’s mighty men’s basketball team, in the first round of the Pac 12 BB tournament, are eliminated after losing to Colo. 59 – 56.

    • Andy Enfield is a team player. He didn’t want to detract from SC’s 2nd favorite sport….Spring Practice.

          • I didn’t say the average GPA is 2.0 what I did say is that all you need is money , and a 2.0 GPA, to get in at USC. uSC is a private university they can do whatever they want, and admits new member they want

I realize that if your dad gives $2 million to the university you can get in but isn’t that how the big boy world works?           • Puhleeeeze, don’t let your homerism get in the way of objectivity. I know plenty of people that have gotten into private schools, including USC with a less than stellar GPA. Like I said, it’s about the $$$$.

  4. I think the numbers are totally legit. When you factor in the two guys from 2013, it just shows the pedigree of their speed work. I think it is really impressive that UCLA had 4 of the 5 fastest players in the entire nation, as well as 6 out of the fastest 10. They might be in trouble though, as there are 125 recruits for 2015 that has been clocked at sub 4.45. I don’t understand how all there NFL guys are so slow.
