  1. Jack Wang hasn’t even posted this to the UCLA side. Seems like your counterpart doesn’t need to troll for hits.

      • In 2013, R. Town and St. B went 8 – 4 and J. Rosen and SJB went 16 – 0. Rosen is a Champion QB on a Championship team/ Town has not taken his game or team to the next level yet. That is to say Fruit Cake, one champion QB in hand, is mo better than 2 or more possible champions on SUCC’s 100 yd practice field.

          • I’m not sure what you mean. I thought I was just pointing out the obvious logical difference betwixt Rosen and Town. If you disagree with my logic, make your argument.

          • Sure, it’s pretty simple. Just because Rosen’s team has a better record than Town’s team doesn’t make him a better QB. By your logic, the Center on Rosen’s team is better than the Center on Town’s team, etc. And I have to chuckle about your statement that you saw a 15-minute video on the two QBs – really, you’re making your judgement based on 15 minutes?

The point is these high school rankings are meaningless. Anyone with a 4-star or 5-star ranking is a very good High School player and on the same level within error. If this was an exact science then the rankings at Rivals and Scouts and ESPN would show a lot more consistency. And at the end of the day, who really cares how High School athletes are ranked.

          • I don’t know about SJB’s center, but SJB is a much better team than St. B. I suggest before you pan my Town assessment, you should review Town highlight for as long as you feel necessary; there’s plenty of Town highlights to review. Then you might sneak a peek at some of Rosen’s highlights. I tend to agree 4 and 5 star rankings are not only meaningless but counter productive to HS students perception of real life situations. There will always be superior athletes but they should be always be treated as an avg. athlete.

          • 180 words substantiates that babbling brooks are noisy. Then, Fruit Cake tears you a new one with but 8. Westwood Rob sends you his warmest regards. Dissing a brother Bruin? The shame of it all.

      • I watched about 15 minutes of 2013 highlights of Rosen and Town. Town is going to need major protection because athletically on a 1 – 10 scale: He’s 5.0 – 5.5. and he tends to get hit quite a bit after releasing the ball. And oddly, Town throws many passes back pedaling instead of stepping forward. He can scramble for short distances but he is ponderous and vulnerable to titanic hits from closing LB’s. Not a problem in HS, but in University competition the action is faster and team defenses are stronger and 100% better.

  2. This reminds me – for you bRuin fans, that traitor loser Vanderdoes is OUT – go see Jack Wang for an update — and STAY there (unless you are truly funny and add value)

    • Bruins do not need you to tell us about Wang. Your average UCLA fan has forgotten more about Wang than you will ever know. At least once a day, I click on Wang. On a good day, I click on Wang two or three times. A smart phone is a good way to check out Wang on the sly, if you’re at work. Go over to his blog at 3 this afternoon and check out Wang live.

    • is that a “Risky Business” reference? very very funny indeed! You related to Brian?
