Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, who feuded with Lane Kiffin when both were SEC head coaches, used an interesting phrase while discussing his relationship with Kiffin.
“There has been a lot of publicity about Lane Kiffin and I having issues. There’s none,” Meyer told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “He’s obviously a good football coach, and I wish him well. I think it was a great hire for Alabama.”
Obviously a good football coach? What’s been obvious in the past seven years to illustrate Meyer’s point?

In a closed working environment, where there are only a few hundred big-name employees (college football coaches) why state something negative about a fellow coach when you know it will get back to him and only antagonize him towards you.
