The Kids’ Choice Awards take over the Galen Center for at least two weeks but that’s not all. The streets are also affected around USC. And some lanes are closed for a week!

Sidewalk closures (marked in BLUE on the map):
- South sidewalk of Jefferson Blvd. closed between Figueroa Street and Flower St. (March 23-30)
- East sidewalk of Figueroa Street closed between Jefferson Blvd. and Exposition Blvd. (March 23-30)
- West sidewalk of Flower Street closed between Jefferson Blvd. and Exposition Blvd. (March 23-30)
Street/Lane Closures (marked in RED on the map):Flower Street:
- Curb lane closed between Jefferson Blvd. and Exposition Blvd. (March 17-April 1)
- #2 lane closed between Jefferson Blvd. and Exposition Blvd. (March 27-31)
Jefferson Blvd.:
- # 3 eastbound lane closed between Figueroa Street and Flower Street (March 23-30)
- # 2 eastbound lane closed between Figueroa Street and Flower Street (March 24-30)
- All eastbound lanes closed between Figueroa Street and Flower Street (March 29-30)
Figueroa Street:
- #2 lane northbound lane closed between Exposition Blvd. and Jefferson Blvd. (March 28-30)
- # 3 and # 4 northbound lanes closed between USC McCarthy Way and Jefferson Blvd. (March 23-30)
- All northbound lanes closed between Exposition Blvd. and Jefferson Blvd. (March 28-30)
- Curb lane southbound closed between Jefferson Blvd. and USC McCarthy Way (March 29-30)

This is really great news for TRADITION RICH So-So Cal! This is the third year in a row, the Kids Choice Awards have been held in So. Central. It’s a no brainer! The Basketball team doesn’t need the arena to practice……Hosting the Kids Choice Awards is a great RECRUITING tool, and a whole lot of you knuckleheads probably get to attend for FREEEEEEE!
