A season-ticket holder reports he recently took a USC survey today on suggested Coliseum improvements and there was a “clear implication” that in order to help pay for improvements, fans would need to pay a personal-seat license fee between $1,000-4,000, in addition to any booster club fees (like Cardinal and Gold) required for certain seats.
That means if you have four decent seats, you are on the hook for $16,000. Pay On!
UPDATED: A USC spokesperson said this is simply a survey and not to assume this is going to happen. “Nothing is close to being set in stone, no decisions have been made . . . that’s the reason for the survey,” the spokesperson said.
“Be aware that this is simply a survey to determine the interests of what our fans want in the renovated coliseum. From the results, decisions will be made going forward in all areas.”
