Here’s my story on Saturday’s Coliseum “scrimmage,” where he even Steve Sarkisian acknowledged Cody Kessler’s lead at the quarterback spot. Link here

Even the normally cautious Kessler seems past the idea of a quarterback competition.

“I’m just going in confident,” Kessler said. “Last year I’d get down on myself. I’d say I wasn’t thinking about (the starting job), but I was. I’m still going to compete, but the main thing I’m trying to do is make the team better, not help my own stock.”

  1. How do you keep your job? There is no controversy, just in your little mind. Kessler is the man and Browne is the back up and that is because Kessler is the better of the two. That is not controversy Wolf, just the truth.

  2. Tailback Tre Madden, who has dealt with a sore back, also was held out. That allowed tailback Tre Madden to get most of the carries along with fullback Jahleel Pinner.

Anyone care to decode Gargamel’s latest gem?

  3. who cares? this is a 7-5 team at best with “Sark” at the helm. Just look at his record at UW. We have Sark trying to implement the Oregon offense which makes me sick as this is USC we run student body right, not some BS from Oregon. And Sark is trying to shove this garbage down our throat with a totally immobile QB. who will be the next coach in 2016?

      • Gramps is right…in America we don’t utilize some of our greatest resources: the elderly.

Call it what you want, 7 Win Sark is bringing the Chuck and Duck to Southern Cal.

what ever happened to Tailback U?

        now it’s Yesterday U….
