  1. Wolf, instead of ranking these guys with Communist money symbols, you should rank them in “Booty units,” named for former USC QB John David Booty. For instance, if Kessler is only half as good as JD Booty, then he would earn half a Booty unit. Brown and Grenew would be worth like a quarter of a Booty. Maybe Town will turn out to be worth two Booties next year!

  2. wolfman, YOUR ranking as a Beat Writer is: €€€€€ !!!

that’s RIGHT, an unprecedented FIVE EUROS!!!!

wolfman, if you’re AAAAAAAAALL outta bubble gum, just say so!!!

    • Thanks Charlie, you’re my #1 fan and I will always appreciate it. And I’m “so European” with my euro score it has these Americans wondering what is wrong with me. But you and I know we’re both cool. I love you Charlie.

  3. Maxie is more down in the dumps than ever after that 1.5 Euro ranking.

    He is so transferring.

    p.s. T-Fail, i am sorry for ignoring you. But you’re just so…..vile.

  4. Is this ranking based on the opinion of the coaches, or Wolf’s vast experience and knowledge as a quarterback/coach?

    • You know the answer to that. Scott can have an opinion, as we all do.

Actually, Scott’s opinion seems to conform to Sark’s opinion. Kessler is learning faster, and playing better than the others.

I didn’t hear Sark say that Kessler is the second coming Andrew Luck or

Peyton Manning, or even that Kessler is in the league of Winston, Manziel, etc. That would be 4 stars.

Personally, I thought Kessler was pretty weak last year against good competition. But he says he worked very hard on his arm strength and velocity. Sark is teaching him to throw earlier in the target’s pass route. And supposedly, this quick-read-and-throw, shorter-pass offense is better suited to his skill set than one that relies on more longer passes and velocity.

Sark said that Browne is not catching on and improving as quickly as Kessler, even though one would expect that Browne began at a lower level, based on his inexperience. That may change over more practices. I hope Browne is getting enough reps so it’s fair.

So where is Scott so far off?

  5. 2 1/2 out of 4 for Kessler. From all other reports he has been doing great.
