USC Needs Every Tailback It Can Use

The tailback position is probably considered USC’s deepest. But Tuesday the Trojans were down to Tre Madden with Javorius Allen (ankle), Ty Issac (back) and Justin Davis (ankle) out. That shows how quickly things change at certain positions and why if you are Max Browne, you probably figure you will get a chance next season.

This is of course assuming the worst, that our favorite quarterback Kessler goes down with an injury. Trojans should hope not because first year guys (Browne) do not do well in the Pac-12

As for running backs, they probably have the most difficult and scary job on the football field. Imagine being a guy 6′ and 200, a normal size for a halfback, running into a line with 5 angry 300 pound assassins just biting at the bit to dismember you.

    Can’t have enough running backs.
