Snap Chat

One topic that doesn’t get a lot of attention is the errant snaps during spring practice. It should be expected as USC transitions to a shotgun offense but it is also going to be something worth watching because even this week there were plenty of poor snaps Tuesday.

It should be solved by fall . . . or else. Remember how devastating one poor snap can be like when Lane Kiffin whistled at Matt Barkley against Oregon in 2010 and the snap hit his ankle and the Ducks recovered.

  1. How bad are the snaps during spring practice? We wouldnt know on this site because you do not report it..
you rather talk about Lame Kiffin (#Creepy) or David Sills aka Baby QB

    • It was last week’s news. Wolf would not have known about it had Sark not mentioned it during a presser. Like I said before, every time I attend practice, Wolf is nowhere in sight. I always see him show up at the tail end of the press conference, however.

      • Have you ever spoken with Gargamel at practice? Or does he just lurk in a corner? I picture him acting like that new kid who transfers to a new school and doesn’t know anyone. Awkwardly exists, stares at his feet, avoids all eye contact, and just counts down the minutes until he can go home.

        • Not at practice because I don’t see him there. Since that student Reid has been working with him, I’ve actually seen her at the press conferences more.

  2. I don’t remember as far back as 2010 but I do remember the first snap of the last Superbowl ; -)

  3. Dad gum it I almost got through Wolf’s posts without a mention of kiffin, but Wolfie was able to sneak a reference in at the very end.
