USC Basketball Poised For Breakout?

That is the opinion of Pac-12 Network analyst Drew Shiller, who was asked what team will be a breakout team next season. Link here

I admit I had to look up who Shiller was (a former Stanford basketball player). Give him points for being a contrarian. But it probably won’t be a reason to regret not having the Pac-12 Network.

  1. “Breakout” is a relative term i.e. compared to what?– Compared to Troy’s last place finish last year? Well, then, yeah, I would guess SC will improve on that record.

  2. Wait for the spear carriers and ‘others’ at bel-air tech to replicate ‘woodie’ a la ‘Lenin’ – you know the drill – a catafalque with ‘woodrow”s ‘faux’ corpse on a cantilever –

Altford is the one on the spot – two of his ‘skinnies’ have already stated they’re heading into the ‘association’ – no matter what those ‘men’ @ FL did to them two weeks ago – hey they’re ‘ready’ for the NBA (good luck with that move).

woodie….the con…..per Gilbert the woodie stated “I have a clear conscience” – meaning he had none to begin with….questions questions…..

    LAA 1 – OAK 0 – bottom of the 1st….hey what’s brooklyn and ‘vin-dawg’ doing these days?

  3. Why the constant hard on for the Pac-12 Network. It must suck to be a low budget beat writer

  4. Breakout? You tell me…
    The numbers gameā€¦Pac-12 Recruits

    5*s/4*s/(##) = ESPN ranking…top 100 as of today

    Arizona 5* (96), 4* (88),4*(86)…3 in top 10)

    Stanford 4* (89),4* (85),4* (82),4* (80)…3 in top 100

    UCLA 5* (96),,4* (88),4* (84)…3 in top 100

    Utah 4* (86),4* (80)…1 in top 100

    Oregon 4* (87)/Colorado 4* (83)/USC 4* (87)…each has 1 in top 100

    Wash/Wash St./Arizona St./Oregon St./Cal = zip…0 in top 100

    • “Breakout” meaning beating the mighty WSU Cougars in the Pac-12 standings…(i.e. 2nd to last place)

  5. Some former Stanford athletes smoke crack; many others go on to successful careers on Wall Street (while also smoking crack)
