After today’s scrimmage, Steve Sarkisian underwent a change of heart on letting offensive lineman Toa Lobendahn wear No. 55, which is reserved for linebackers.
“There was a miscommunication,” Sarkisian said. “I probably dropped the ball there. The reality is, it’s a great number.”
That pleased former linebacker Willie McGinest, who wore No. 55 and attended the scrimmage.
“That’s a linebackers’ number,” McGinest said. “That number means a lot. Of course it goes back to Junior Seau and everything he did. USC is all about tradition.”
Finally some Common Sense… Sark please don’t screw with USC Football Traditions like the Number 55.
The old Kiffy-Goat miscommunication schtick. LOL. SUCC fans what is more inportant: who wears 55, SUCC’s non-existent offense or having too pony up for mausoleum PSLs?
The most important thing is your boring posts every day.
Thank you.
This is truly amazing and unprecedented!!!
the wolfman created this phony controversy and used it to actually get Sark to change players numbers!!!!
Last year the wolfman ran Kiff outta town, and now he’s inside Sark’s head!!
No beat writer has ever affected a team like this!!!
More evidence the wolfman is El Gran Lobo Mas Macho!!!
Note to Steve Sarkisian :… Stop trying to control things that have nothing to do with winning football games , you are starting to remind me of your arrogant control freak buddy Lane Kiffin .
