The Trojans win Game 1 at UCLA behind another outstanding pitching performance from Wyatt Strahan, who allowed only five hits and no runs in eight innings. Strahan pitched a complete-game shutout last weekend.
Center fielder Timmy Robinson got the Trojans started with a 3-run homer in the first inning. Right fielder Vahn Bozoian drove in three runs while first baseman Jake Hernandez went 3 for 5 and drove in two runs.
Wow, close game.
