USC’s season-opener against Fresno State just got a little more interesting as Duke quarterback Brandon Connette said he will transfer to Fresno. He will be eligible immediately.

Connette was a short-yardage quarteback for the Blue Devils and set a school record with 27 touchdowns last season (13 passing, 14 rushing).
