  1. What are you talking about?

These are contractual commitments that cannot be bailed out of at this point

    • Hey, cut Scottie some slack – I never said he was good at manufacturing stories.

    • Why was Texas A&M able to bail out on their contractual obligation to play us?

  2. This is just as dumb as those fools that worried about style points 2 years ago….before USC lost 6 games. Right now USC is no where near a contender..even for the PAC 12…… Why worry about SOS?

  3. wolfman, you CONTINUE to be the most RUTHLESS VATO in all of journalism!!!

seemingly on a whim, you took the trOXans down to CHINATOWN simply because you dint like their schedule!!!

and once you got them down you keep on putting the boots to them!!!

wolfman, remined me NEVER to cross you, VATO LOCO!!!

  4. Must be a really slow day when all you can do Wolfie is come with this topic, and that topic being 2 USC games that were scheduled a long time ago and that at this point cannot be changed. PLEASE come up with some better stuff to focus on. Don’t you ever get tired of people coming on here to your blog only to read back and forth banter from the posters and not your news?

  5. Why would anyone, besides trolls, even bother participating in this lame poll? Let’s just play the hand we’ve been dealt and make better decisions with scheduling in the future? I’m sure that Scottie will hold Sark accountable for his promise to play the best teams anyway……

  6. The NCAA needs to setup a clearing house that brokers out-of-conference games. Schools could rank their preferred opponents and the clearing house would match those games that would be competitive. Match-ups could be weighted to allow for rivalries like USC/ND to be more likely to be paired. And since the world runs on money, TV distribution channels could have a role in the bidding process. This would solve the issue of SEC teams padding their schedule with cupcakes to bolster statistics. This is a proven process that is used in areas today, like matching medical interns with hospitals.

    • Do you really want the NCAA having more control than it already does? I do think your argument has merits, but I’m not sure letting the NCAA affect any more than they do is a wise decision. Just like I don’t think letting S T D out in public is a smart decision. He’s better off spending his day on this blog making a fool of himself, where he can’t hurt anyone.

      • I’m referring to what the NCAA should be able to execute. Now I agree with you the current version of the NCAA is worse than worthless and actually negatively impacts student athletes. I support Jim Brown’s call for a total revamping of the NCAA.

  7. Lemme get this straight….It’s o.k. to play the Sisters of the POOR….Minny, her ugly sister Virginia, and her very poor sister from Hawaii….but Arkansas “STATE”, and (nubsie’s wife) Idaho are off limits? Just like your bogus academics….your preseason schedule of CREAMPUFF’S is a Joke.
U Stupid Clown’s are the joke of the NCAA.
    fit Un knuckleheads!

    • Fantastic. thought for sure you’d miss work today after the huge fiesta yesterday.

  8. Better be careful with Arkansas State. They are one of the BETTER mid-major teams out there! They’re last three head coaches landed at Ole Miss (Hugh Freeze), Auburn (Gus Malzahn), and Boise State (Brian Harsin). Idaho…on the other hand…is a tasty creampuff.
