A Third-Place Game For Water Polo?

USC defeated Cal in the third-place game at the NCAA women’s water polo championships yesterday. A third-place game? There are only 32 teams in the country that play women’s water polo to begin with (men’s is even less) and they need a third-place game?

Some of you might remember the old third-place game for men’s basketball during the Final Four that was abandoned in 1981. Hard to believe any college sport still wants to play those games.

  1. This was obviously written by someone that has never competed for anything.

    • No? Guaranteed the Wolf man is a lot more successful than you dude. There are plenty of other delusional writers you can read that will cover up the pile of crap that has become your football and basketball programs. Wolf is just being objective. And if you keep it up, you’ll be in a world of pain! Serious

  2. No problem with resolving the 3rd place winner. Great 1 2 3 4 for PAC. 12

  3. Scott. You are quite negative in your posts. Perhaps some inner healing is in order. I wish you the best. Start with forgiveness.
