Money No Issue For USC

USA Today reports that USC athletic director Pat Haden earned more than $2.4 million in compensation in 2012, former USC coach Lane Kiffin made $3.1 million and former defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin made $1.9 million. So the Kiffins earned $5 million for seven victories in 2012. And Haden is the nation’s highest-paid athletic director.

  1. I would have expected more than the Sark hire from the nations highest paid AD… Football team is mediocre (until Sark proves otherwise), basketball is an absolute joke, baseball still struggling… Haden’s head will be on the block pretty soon here if he doesn’t turn this ship around…

    • I would give Haden no more than two years to show some significant results by his questionable hires…..

      • The Greek likes Haden. Clean image, lawyer, Riordan partner. My sources say he will be gone when football probation ends.

    • It’s unbelievable that Haden is paid this much for what has amounted to “On The Job Training”. His most high profile acts (hiring and firing of coaches, dealing with the ncaa, Coliseum PSL’s) have come across as incompetent and show that he’s truly in over his head. I think he’s a very smart man with a wealth of experience who was thrown into a role that he was ill prepared to handle. USC should have the best (especially with their budget) and they clearly don’t!

  2. I wonder if the Daily News will report how much Scott Wolf earned in 2012?

    • Dude…. why were your comments deleted in the blog entry, “What’s Happened To USC’s Schedule?”?……

      • I think that was the Scottie doesn’t realize it takes two to tango comment referencing scheduling… interesting how the pro-USC comments are deleted but the pro-UCLA comments are retained – no matter how vulgar they might be.

        • Scottie is a lousy dancer anyway, according to Bucket (himself)…….he apparently doesn’t know how to lead……

        • Wolf likes to dish it out, but can’t take it! He enjoys trolling his own blog, pathetic

  3. Yet there’s that Personal seat license b.s……You big DUMMY’s continue to fund this joke of an athletic program…..and deserve it….
