USC Interested In Servite QB Travis Waller

Travis Waller of Servite High School has not, I repeat has not, been offered a scholarship by USC. But the Trojans like him a lot and maybe USC will take him if things do not work out with the Baby Quarterback (David Sills). And Waller’ stock is rising so it would be no surprise if he does get offered.

USC Vaults To No. 8 In Directors’ Cup

With a national championship in men’s tennis and second-place finish in women’s golf, USC moved up to No. 8 in the latest Directors’ Cup standings. UCLA is No. 9. Stanford continues to lead the standings. The Trojans were No. 21 a month ago.

USC Morning Buzz: College Football Playoff Odds

You might have noticed Bovada released odds yesterday on nine teams making the four-team College Football Playoff. They did not include USC. So I asked them what the odds would be the for the Trojans? Here they are:

USC Offers Florida Tailback? Maybe Not

USC offered a scholarship to three-star tailback Javarius Davis of Jacksonville, Fla. Interestingly, it doesn’t look like any of the major Florida schools offered Davis yet unless South Florida and Central Florida are major.

UPDATED: That is what Davis tweeted earlier today but I’ve heard USC has not offered him yet, which might explain why bigger schools have not. And that he is not even on USC’s recruiting board.
