No One Else Believes Pete Carroll Either

ESPN.com decided to poll its readers whether they believed Pete Carroll when he said he would not have left USC if he knew NCAA sanctions were coming and the result was overwhelmingly against Carroll. Eighty percent said they did not believe him. Of course, the only state that backed Carroll was Washington. But they would probably believe Lane Kiffin was a good coach if Carroll said it.
