How well did USC absorb NCAA sanctions with 10-win seasons two of the past three years? But how much better would the Trojans be positioned today if anyone else ran the program the past four seasons?

I find it somewhat ironic that for all of the problems Reggie Bush caused this school, in many ways his legend is what helped keep it alive.
How SC is positioned today? About as good as possible. SC is short on bodies, not talent. .Kiffin’s recruiting during a bowl ban and scholarship limitations was outstanding. Even the last year when he had many de-commits, he had a smaller class with top talent.
Then how come there’s so many SUCC FB excuses?
It must suck to be constantly constipated
Not really. We have little depth and that takes its toll over a season. If Cody goes down we are hosed unless Wittek comes back. We can’t afford injuries anywhere and our OL is as weak as it has ever been since McKay showed up. In Pete’s heyday f ucla, Arizona, ASU, WSU and the Domers were poorly coached. Now there is parity and no easy wins except Colorado.
Well isn’t that the point? Our issue is depth. To steal a phrase form my dad, I don’t care if the Pope was coaching, he or Kiffin would be still down 30 scholarships. Depth has nothing to do with Kiffin. What Kiffin did is recruit phenomenal talent when everyone knew SC would be down for the next few years and every other coach pointed that out to every recruit. Kiffin could not of done better to position SC for success in the near term. The alternative would be no depth and no talent.
Not only did USC lose out on numerous, talented recruits, but we lost them to other Pac-12 schools, including the Gizzards of Westwood…
Hey wolf, is that the same picture you throw darts at?
… Love Darts
We’d have been much better off if HADEN hadn’t been running the program.
That chapter in the Kiffin book on coaching really sucked.
Didn’t realize you could read.
great point, wolfman, Reggie cost Southern Cal 3-4 Nattys, but Kiff ensured they wont win another for at least 10 years.
wolfman, you’re BACK on your “A-GAME”!!!
Carpal tunnel?
Pete Carroll cost himself Nattys by hiring yes men around him and of course, losing to Stanford, Oregon St, and UCLA!
Actually Kiffin and the coaching staff wrote the book on how best to deal with NCAA sanctions. They had a great game plan. Just look at other schools that were hit with lesser sanctions and were crippled for 10 years. USC will be in the hunt for a NC within 3 years.
Did you like the chapters about losing to your rivals? I didn’t.
Since it was you, that brought up “THE HUNT”….how long has it been since that big old money maker of yours has seen any action?
Yep….that’s what I thought!
fit Un!
FLAGGED AGAIN!
DAYUM! Two 10 win seasons, a QB that broke multiple Pac 12 records, Blietnikoff winner (which USC never had until Kiffin)…
AND SCOTT JUST CAN NOT STOP COMPLAINING!
Man crush.
Now who would really know the answers to your questions, Wolfie…..you’re just serving up more fodder for the Kiffin hating trolls…..
Kiffy looks so Hollywood cool in shades along side an OJ bottle.
