Player Spotlight

DanDoy

If you missed the live chat, I mentioned the exploits of USC player Aramis Dandoy, who has to be one of the great Trojans of the past that gets little attention. Dandoy was USC’s leader in rushing, total offense, scoring, punt returns and kickoff returns and interceptions in 1953. He was also a member of 1952 and 1954 Rose Bowl teams.

  1. Little attention?…. this dude has a mens fragrance named after him!!!…..haha

  2. Bucket has fond memories of Mr. Dandoy. Back in 1953, he autographed bucket’s faux leather helmet. To this day, he still wears it while tossing the football around

  3. Bukich to Carmichael…I was there for first ever PCC RoseBowl win over Wisconsin and their Alan ‘the horse’ Amache…All went on to play pro and do well, and most had to play both ways in college…including Aramis Dandoy…thanks for bringing back those memories…wish they had tapes of those old games.
