  1. Fun Fact: His father Peter Boermeester kicked for UCLA and later in NFL with the Cleveland Browns……..

  2. The woman behind the man responds!!! Go to “World Cup Talk” thread to see all the action and perhaps ask this fine young lady why Scott is a neat reporter for Sc writing about soccer –

The “amen” comment was more than just a validation of another commenter’s opinion. The comment also contained veiled swearing and racially charged language, and so, yes, it was deleted by a staffer assigned to moderate the comments.
Often we will try to edit comments to retain them, but sometimes we don’t have the manpower to devote as much time to our comments section and instead simply delete comments that violate our comment policy.
Keeping comments free from personal attacks on other commenters, swearing (even “disguised” swearing), and posted from original singular accounts that don’t attempt to ridicule or mimic other commenters will ensure that the comments are left standing.
    Thanks for reading.

      • Wow… your reading comprehension skills really ARE bad, aren’t they?……please seek medical attention immediately..The bottles of Corona obviously aren’t helping…

      • We try not to outright delete the comment. If we can edit out an expletive and leave the comment posted, we try to do that. Occasionally, however, we are flooded with flagged comments to moderate, which leaves fewer time for staff to evaluate individual comments. Under these kinds of time crunches, staff have been instructed that it’s OK to simply delete — rather than edit — comments that violate our policy.

Hope that clarifies the point. Thanks for reading.

        • Gina – if Charlie Bucket doesn’t shape up and start treating us Trojans with some dignity, what kind of things can you do to him??? We want all the details… torture? public humiliation? Do you find him funny??? I usually do…
As a matter of fact, I think I read this blog in anticipation of Charlie’s response to Scott’s inane or generally defamatory posts regarding USC football – for instance, why is the website address “insidesocal” – haven’t you read the USC media guide??? Seems to be a slap in the face right there! And what does Charlie have to say about that, that’s where the entertainment lies, not with the source – it’s akin to my desire to read a blog like Rotten dot com, and wanting to see the results of a train crash!
          Comprende?

    • Feel free to flag any comments you feel are violating the comment policy, and we’ll get through them as best as we are able.

Also, for the record, we delete a fair amount of comments made by Charlie Bucket as well. We follow a guideline; there’s really nothing more to it.

      Thanks for reading.

      • Gina,

Do you think it is fair to say that if Charlie Bucket found a more fruitful hobby and put an end to his decade long crusade to do nothing more than childishly provoke the genuine USC fans who come here to constructively discuss Trojan matters, then the violations of comment policy and the constant need to monitor and delete posts would go away with him?

        • Chuckers insightful and funny posts clearly outshine anything you have ever posted. Your continued rants and speculation about “who is really who” flavored with comments about “The time People post” are beyond boring. You are obviously motivated by a strong desire to DRIVE PEOPLE away from this site. You should be banished to ‘People Magazine”.com
          fit Un!

          • Hey, guess what? This post is just like all the others in that nobody cares what you have to say.
If you really need the attention that badly though, have at it.

Oh and I’m sorry i didn’t come up with anything as original as “fit Un!”

          • Jezro, you are actually starting to concern me. You aren’t having any fun on this blog!

You need to get back to basics….your strong suit–detective work. Maybe you can figure out the identity of Sally Cushing’s stud nephew. She gave out enough clues: you just need to ID an ex Bruin Fullback who demanded over the middle passes on 4th & 3 (cause he’s a stud!) who now works as a bouncer at a massage parlor (he now works for Sally)

Five years ago the Jezro I used to know would have already blown this case wide open!!!

          • Sorry but I don’t spend my time worrying about matters from the other school.
I did put you down for another 2:00AM post here though.

    • Here’s my solution for all you RAH RAH’s….have mummy and DaDa buy the Daily news so you can turn this site into another wearesc, then all the SUNSHINE PUMPERS will shut up, maybe.

  3. How many games in the NFL are won by kickers?– Granted, the talent level is different in college which leads to higher scores, so the kicker is less important, but come on folks– get a scholarship kicker
